Bassam Adeel Jaleel (born 21 November, 1983) is the President of the Football Association of Maldives as well as member of the Member Associations Committee of Asian Football Confederation (AFC).[1] [2] [3]
Education
He graduated in Bachelor of Arts(Hons), Business Administration from University of East London.
Career
He started his career as Sports Development Officer (Trainee) Football Association of Maldives(FAM) from 2005-2007. Further, he became General Secretary, Football Association of Maldives in 2014-15.
Positions held
From 2015 to 2019, he was the Member of the Futsal and Beach Soccer committee of Asian Football Confederation(AFC).
Also, in 2016, he was appointed as Chairman of the Normalization Committee by FIFA to FAM and, General Secretary of the newly elected Executive Committee of FAM.
At present, he is the President of Football Association of Maldives since 2016.
Also, he is Member of the Member Associations Committee of Asian Football Confederation since 2019.
