Bachelor Lake is a lake in Brown County, Minnesota, covering approximately 97 acres,[citation needed] in the northeastern part of Stark township. According to a different source it is 92 acres in area.
It is one of many lakes and wetlands in the county that are officially protected water of the State of Minnesota[2]
It is one of more than 15 lakes that were mentioned in a geological study that was published in 1884.[3]
It has been asserted that the lake was named for an unmarried pioneer who lived there.[4]
The lake contains water.
