La Asociación de Familiares de Presos y Desaparecidos Saharauis (Spanish for The Association of the Families of Sahrawi Prisoners and Disappeared) or AFAPREDESA, is an exile-based Sahrawi human rights organization, campaigning against human rights abuses perpetrated by Morocco against Sahrawis in the Moroccan-occupied parts of Western Sahara. It focuses especially on the question of the Sahrawi "disappeared", and campaigned extensively for the release of Muhammad Daddach (imprisoned in El Aaiun 1975-2002).
AFAPREDESA has offices in Spain and in the Polisario-administered refugee camps of Tindouf Province, Algeria, where it was founded on August 20, 1989. It has the status of observer member in the African Commission for Human Rights, and is a member of the Federation of Associations of Families of Disappeared (FEDEFAM). It is banned by the Moroccan government.
