Asaga (9th century) was a Jain Poet of Kannada Literature, the name probably is an apbramsha of sanskrit- Ashoka. There is a mention about him being a pathbreaking poet in the munnudi of shabdamanidarpana of Keshi raja. His works were not found and are supposed to be lost in time.
