Alexei Kondratiev is a one of the foremost scholars working in Celtic Restorationist Paganism and teacher of Irish language and Celtic history at the Irish Arts Center in Manhattan, New York since 1984. He is also an officer of the Celtic League, and has been involved with the Mythopoeic Society. With a background in anthropology, linguistics, and comparative religion, he founded an eclectic Wiccan circle called Children of Memory in New York.
He wrote The Apple Branch: A Path to Celtic Ritual (ISBN 1-898256-42-X), and has contributed to publications such as Mythlore, Keltoi, and the book People of the Earth.
