Al-Haditha was a Palestinian Arab village in the District of Ramla. It was located 8 km northeast of Ramla, on the bank of Wadi al-Natuf.
In Biblical times, al-Haditha was a Jewish village known as Hadid whose remnants can be seen at Tel Hadid, an archaeological site.[1]In the Hellenistic era it was known as 'Adida. In 1945, the village had a population of 760. The residents were evicted in July 1948, in the early stages of Operation Dani, during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
