Acer Clear.fi is a wireless home network solution by the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Acer.[1] It allows sharing and playback of media over multi-platform devices.[2] The console can be assembled when the user attaches a wireless router to a DLNA-compliant gadget. When the two are attached, icons will materialize onto the screen, allowing users to access files through the media console.[3] Acer Clear.fi can also automatically locate Acer smartphones and PCs, enabling users to share media with each other.[4] It was officially presented by the company at Beijing Conference in May 2010 [5] Acer has yet to offer clear.fi technology for download to general users.
