The 2023–24 season will be the 159th season in the existence of Wrexham A.F.C. and their first season back in the English Football League since the 2007–08 season. Wrexham will be one of five Welsh clubs in the English football league system. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. Series 2 of Welcome to Wrexham will debut on Disney+ on September 12 2023.[1]

Pre-season and friendlies
Wrexham announced their first pre-season tour for July and their inaugural visit to the United States and confirmed three friendly matches against Manchester United,[15] Chelsea[16] and LA Galaxy II.[17] On 12 June, a fourth friendly in the US was confirmed, against Philadelphia Union II.[18]
