Hello, my background is in Invention & Innovation, with a main interest in analogue multiple channel audio reproduction.
I speak English (and when provoked -- some Foul). In my off-time, I not only listen to .... but I actually "PLAY_WITH" a lot of music, and I have discovered that Wikipedia is (sometimes) a very good source for information in that department. Hopefully I can help make it even better. Hopefully you will too.
I am also a direct descendant of Lieutenant Colonel David Cossgrove. (His Great Grandson to be exact) which is why I am here today. I am here.. to "provide" a family members photo (otherwise lost to public view) The exact family photo .. of Lieutenant Colonel David Cossgrove As given to his Wife & Family.
And to now see it simply goto: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cossgrove
This is "mine" (in my possesion) of which I have scanned & have now gifted to Wikipedia MY COPY of the "Family_photo" of my Great Grandad with his "gongs".
Or as my own "late" Mum once told me about HIS "gongs" (and about the time- when she herself asked her own Grandma ? Why was his "Doodle" shot off - when she was told of his "DSO" ..and.. My Mum also told me that her Grandma "Selina" was laughing so hard, that even she forgot to "spank" my Mum- for her "very" naughty_word question).
Thus: I know the full story (as my MUM saw it) about his DSO "medal"; and other "gongs".
Thus: NOW- I will click "SAVE". And then ADD (my) Great Grandfathers photo - and PUT_IT where MINE should have been "put". QUIX4U (talk) 02:00, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
?
Well- I came back today QUIX4U (talk) 02:03, 7 October 2011 (UTC) (07 Oct 2011 @ 3:02pm NZ (local_time) and spotted.. it gone..
But no worries eh.?
A quick check into my "history" of contributions (via one of those top RHS tabs) - soon sorted that out.
Some nice (not so sitting on hz thumbs) "admin" type has shifted it into Great.Grandad's own page.
Thus: I will stick mine where it should be-- (that is): If I can remember how to upload it.? QUIX4U (talk) 02:03, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
Unfortunately I wasn't able to "post" the photo of my face..
But I was able to post that photo of my wee 1978 Mitsubishi COLT T-120-Y "truck" .. somewhere in this main body of info.. So i am truely greatfull to another editor for transposing that - over onto my "profile photo" space. [quote] fixed your userpage troubles and your "face" is now the rear view of the T120. ...
