Sriram Venkitaraman is a suspended Indian Administrative Service officer and he was worked as a medical doctor. He was the sub-collector of Devikulam.[1] Venkitaraman was suspended from the service by the government of kerala in relation with the case of killing of a Kerala journalist, K.M. Basheer[2]

Sriram is the son of Venkitaraman.[citation needed] He has a masters in public health from Harvard University.[3]
