July 2018
Hello, I'm RandNetter96. I noticed that you recently removed content from Kempner function without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you find that the content should not be on the page please discuss it on the talk page RandNetter96 (Talk) (Contributions) 19:09, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- @RandNetter96: It is difficult to tell if this templating is done out of incompetence, or just bad faith. My edit summaries are perfectly clear; if you have a question about them, you are free to begin a discussion on the article talk page or some appropriate forum like WT:WPM like a civilized person. --2601:142:3:F83A:2836:5723:BC35:E4C6 (talk) 19:12, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. RandNetter96 (Talk) (Contributions) 19:14, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

- @RandNetter96: I would be very happy to discuss content. However, your edits are content-independent: your justification for them is pure formalism (I am an IP, I removed content, therefore you reverted). In order to discuss content, it is necessary to have an interlocutor who states a view (any view, really) about the content. You have not done that. I think this suggests bad faith more than incompetence. --2601:142:3:F83A:2836:5723:BC35:E4C6 (talk) 19:16, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kempner function, you may be blocked from editing. Conduct does not equal content. I have reverted you and you have lashed out. In terms of content you are removing sources with a summery judgment. Use the talkpage RandNetter96 (Talk) (Contributions) 19:18, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Kempner function. I have already reported you to WP:AIV, stop being incivil and start a discussion on the talk page RandNetter96 (Talk) (Contributions) 19:32, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Kempner function shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
