Oroza was born on 17 July 1976 in Bilboa, Vizcaya,[1][2] and has cerebral palsy.[1] He is from the Burgos in Castile and León region of Spain,[3] and works as a mechanic, cook and lecturer.[2] In 2012, he lived in Los Altos, Burgos.[1]
Cycling
Oroza is a T1 classified cyclist.[1] He took up the sport when he was 16 years old.[2]
At the 2002 World Championships in Altenstadt, Oroza won a silver medal.[1] At the 2006 World Championships in Switzerland, he won a pair of gold medals.[1] At the 2007 World Championships in Bordeaux, France, he won a gold medal and a silver medal.[1] He competed at the 2008 Summer Paralympics.[1] Competing in two road events, his best finish was seventh.[1]
