Bambarakanda Falls or Bambarakele Falls is 263m high and the highest waterfall in Sri lanka[1] and 299th highest waterfall in the world.[2] It is situated in Kalupahana area in Badulla District on Colombo-Badulla highway. It is formed by Kuda Oya a tributary of Walawe Ganga. The Falls is located in a forest of Pine and tropical trees.
