Featured and good topics in Wikipedia A featured topic is a collection of inter-related articles that are of a good quality (though are not necessarily featured articles).A good topic is a collection of inter-related articles that are of a good quality (though are not necessarily featured articles) with a less stringent quality threshold than a featured topic. This page is for the nomination of potential featured and good topics. See the good and featured topic criteria for criteria on both types of topic. If you would like to ask any questions about your topic and the featured topic process before submitting it, visit Wikipedia talk:Featured topic candidates. Before nominating a topic, nominators may wish to receive feedback by listing it at Featured topic questions. Nominators must be sufficiently familiar with the subject matter and sources to deal with objections during the FTC/GTC process. If you nominate something you have worked on, note it as a self-nomination. Nominators who are not significant contributors to the articles of the topic should consult regular editors of the articles prior to nomination. Nominators are expected to respond positively to constructive criticism and to make an effort to address objections promptly. The featured topic director, GamerPro64, or his delegate Spy-cicle, determine the timing of the process for each nomination. For a nomination to be promoted to FT or GT status, consensus must be reached for a group to be promoted to featured or good topic status. If enough time passes without objections being resolved, nominations will be removed from the candidates topic and archived. You may want to check previous archived nominations first: |

Nomination procedureTo create a new nomination use the form below (e.g., Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/Saffron/archive1) and click the "Create new nomination" button. Once the nomination page is created, remember to transclude it in the appropriate section below, to leave nomination templates on the talk pages of the articles nominated for the topic, and to create appropriate books (see Book:Jupiter for a good example). For detailed instructions on how to nominate topics or add articles to existing topics, see Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/Nomination procedure. Supporting and objectingPlease review all the articles of the nominated topic with the featured topic criteria in mind before deciding to support or oppose a nomination. Following the creation of the book, Cyberbot I will create a book report (see example) containing details about cleanup issues (only those that have been flagged with cleanup templates, so it may not pick up everything), and various tools to inspect external links or resolve disambiguation pages. It can be a good idea to check the report and inspect links to see if certain articles need some cleanup (doing this before the nomination is even better).
For a topic to be promoted to featured topic status, consensus must be reached that it meets the criteria. If enough time passes without objections being resolved (at least one week), nominations will be removed from the candidates list and archived. Nominations will stay here for ten days if there is unanimous consent, or longer if warranted by debate. |

CMLL World Micro-Estrellas Champions
The CMLL World Micro-Estrellas Champions (Campeonato Mundial Micro-Estrellas de CMLL in Spanish) was a professional wrestling championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) since December 2019. The topic includes all notable members who have competed for the championship.

This represents a complete topic of the championship, including the title itself, the champion and everyone involved with the tournament to crown the first champion. It actually includes all notable Mini-Estrellas in CMLL so it is unlikely to change significantly over time and would be manageable. It has a unifying template etc. --MPJ-DK (talk) 12:48, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Support: Seems to tick all the boxes, as described in the nomination. Good work! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 17:13, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
24K Magic
24K Magic is the third studio album recorded by American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars. The album was met with generally favorable reception and at the 2018 Grammy Awards it won seven Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best R&B Album, whilst the title track won Record of the Year and "That's What I Like" won Song of The Year at the same ceremony. Several publications listed the album as one of the best records of the year and the Associated Press named it as the tenth-best album of the 2010s. I am nominating this for a good topic after having worked hard on all of the articles and brought them to GA status, with thanks to all the reviewers of each article. Any modifications that can improve their quality will be made as I'm always available to such suggestions. I included the Album, Singles, Tour and the TV Special. CommentSupport: Looks like it ticks all the boxes, with the album, the singles, the tour and the concert film.I found it odd that the main article doesn't seem to contain a mention of or link to Bruno Mars: 24K Magic Live at the Apollo? That probably needs to be corrected before I can support. Also, like most of the album topics, there's no one shared category or navbox, but they're all in a common supercategory, and we've tended to judge that to be good enough. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 20:12, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Bryanrutherford0: Thanks for the comment. I added the information regarding the tv special on the album page. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 22:54, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support with comment: Great work here and I feel honored to have reviewed four of the articles (counting the reassessment that is), though the opening sentence of the album article currently reads awkwardly due to the two uses of "and" being very close; maybe use "It was released by..." as its own sentence instead, but still in the same order? --K. Peake 14:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Thanks for the comment and the four reviews. Fixed. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:35, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

This topic covers all the characters from the Star Wars television series The Mandalorian. The featured list covers all of the leading and supporting characters on the show, as well as guest characters, and there are 12 standalone articles about individual characters. I created the list and most of the character articles, and I worked each of them up to GA status, as well as the list to FL. — Hunter Kahn 02:04, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

with comment: I'm not familiar enough with the show to judge whether this group covers all the notable characters, but the rest looks good. They're all in Category:Star Wars television characters and linked by Template:The Mandalorian. As a comment, the title of the topic doesn't have to be the same as the title of the main article; I think it would be better to title this topic something more like "Characters from The Mandalorian". -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 14:56, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
- You might get some other editors' input as to the best title; I think "Characters from The Mandalorian" seems the most natural to me, but there are also "Characters in The Mandalorian", "Characters of The Mandalorian", "The Mandalorian characters", and probably other possibilities. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 20:37, 27 July 2020 (UTC)

Ye
Ye is the eighth studio album by American rapper Kanye West. It was released on June 1, 2018, through GOOD Music and distributed by Def Jam Recordings. The album and the accompanying singles mostly brought West critical and commercial success. I am nominating this for a good topic after having worked hard on all of the articles and brought them to GA status in relatively close periods during the past year or so, with thanks to the likes of Zmbro and LOVI33 for helping promote a number of them. I have read through them all recently and fixed any issues that were present even after the GA reviews, therefore I believe collectively they can become a GA topic after all the hard work. --Kyle Peake (talk) 08:12, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

- Support with comments Firstly, on "No Mistakes" there is a website called "Moms.com", which doesn't strike as reliable source, it does look like a blog. The editoral team has no other pieces featured on more reliable source/other websites. On top of that, the writer of that piece has only written for blogs. Moreover, I want to draw attention to the usage of the thumbnail of the lyric videos on "All Mine" and "Violent Crimes" on the cover, as I can't see how it is important and "appropriate for the song", per Template:Infobox song "Add an image of a sheet music cover, picture sleeve, or other image appropriate for the song", other songs which don't have cover arts don't feature thumbnail of lyrics videos so this two articles shouldn't be an exception. Otherwise, great work, mainly on the songs showing their notability through the use of independent, reliable sources. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 17:00, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
- MarioSoulTruthFan Thanks for delivering suggestions, the lyric videos have been fixed and I replaced Moms.com with a fully professional source, plus I'm sure you will be happy to see that "All Mine" now has the addition of a sourced genre. --K. Peake 19:52, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- Kyle Peake You are welcome and good job. But you do say "industrial elements" in the lead, so it is more of an influence than a genre. The source does say "industrial screeches", so I'm a bit on the fence here. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 22:50, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- MarioSoulTruthFan Since it is obviously a reliable source and notable, should I keep the info in prose but remove the genre from infobox? --K. Peake 06:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- Kyle Peake I would do something in that vein. Afterwards I will fully support. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 12:23, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- MarioSoulTruthFan Have fixed now and edited the prose slightly, sure there are not any more issues or do you fully support now? --K. Peake 14:18, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

I made this topic back in 2016, then encompassing every video game we had an article on prior to 1972 (aka the start of the commercial video game industry). I thought at the time that that was pretty much it- while there were certainly other games, they were pretty much without impact and did not have enough sourcing to make an article, or more than a passing mention. I was proven wrong 2 years later when Coin945 made Marienbad (and I pushed it to GA), which did have little impact but had enough sourcing due to its unearthed status as the first Polish video game. I neglected to add it to this topic (sorry!), but more recently a second game has been made into an article (this time by Ylee this past September) and then expanded these past couple weeks to GA: The Sumerian Game, which in older research was just "there was a game about Sumer made before Hamurabi and that's probably where he got the idea from", but more recent digging has proven to be potentially the first game with a narrative and the first to be designed by a woman, in addition to definitely being the direct/only inspiration for Hamurabi. So, two articles made, and this time I've remembered (aka been prodded by GamerPro64) to add them to the topic. I'm pretty sure (again...) that there's nothing else that will pop up, so this should be the only addition to the topic. --PresN 22:28, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

weirdwikier | Conversations and Contributions 07:51, 13 July 2020 (UTC) - Comment - Just a question here but isn't it per Featured topic criteria a featured topic should at least have 50% of its article featured? Since ornithologists recently reassigned the species, the African crake is no longer considered to belong in this genus, and the article on the genus was turned from a GA into a redirect to Corn crake. So, now the topic has no main article and only one other article, and it probably needs to be removed. -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 22:59, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
