This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Albums and songs. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Albums and songs|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- Note that there are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove links to other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Albums and songs.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

- Delete: Found no additional coverage myself. Certs are the only part that meet NALBUM, but those could be added to a new section of Mariah Carey albums discography (which I'm surprised isn't already there). There is a one-sentence mention in Number 1's (Mariah Carey album)#Other songs; not enough that I would consider it a valid redirect target, especially since readers looking for this article will probably end up there anyway, but it's an option if anyone else wants to argue for it. - Comment: The Japanese title is Bakuhatsu Live! +5 and charted at number 45 on the Oricon Albums Chart. I wasn't able to find much in the way of reviews, but I admittedly only made a surface-level check (爆発ライブ!+5, if anyone wants to search further for sources). IanTEB (talk) 20:38, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

Completely unsourced WP:GAMECRUFT and WP:GAMEGUIDE content that has nothing worth merging into Fortnite Festival. Unlike some other rhythm games, there is no worthwhile coverage of this games song selection, especially since it isn't based on DLC. λ NegativeMP1 21:03, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Does not meet WP:GNG. Beyond lacking a title and release date, none of the available coverage is in significant depth or particularly independent, as it comprises newspapers quoting the artists directly for vague details about their upcoming collaborative project, and one article about a concert where the artists played together (but which does not mention any upcoming album). Searching online for the artists' names only turns up coverage about prior work together. As the advertised album does not list either artist as the primary artist, and neither of their biography articles discuss the upcoming project, so the usual album ATD of redirecting to the recording artist does not apply. signed, Rosguill talk 14:29, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: So it's an un-named album, sourced from interviews, that is coming out sometime in 2024? Nothing here is meeting notability standards; interviews can't be used to show notability and the sourcing is thread-bare otherwise. I'd have put a sentence or two in each of the singers' articles and left it as a one-liner. There is nothing notable about something that might or might not happen sometime, we aren't sure when, that two guys talked about briefly. Oaktree b (talk) 19:20, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Couldn't find a reliable source verifying notability of or significantly covering the whole song by the Supremes. Sure, it charted in (West) Germany, but that's all I can find. If it fails GNG, then the song may also fail WP:NSONG. Even if notable, the article won't likely expand in the near or far future. George Ho (talk) 07:39, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

Reviewed during NPP. No evidence of notability under SNG or GNG. Actually no coverage of the actual topic because it does not exist. Just saying the he's going to have an album in sometimes in 2024 which doesn't even have a name. Coverage of the "album" is just some comments about it. Previously deleted. - Delete - Much too speculative at this time, and not enough confirmed info to justify an article under WP:FUTUREALBUM. The fact that the rapper is working on a new album can be discussed at his article in the meantime. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 17:35, 4 June 2024 (UTC)

Reverted redirect; the edit summary said the article can be improved by his fans, but I couldn't find any sources to improve the article with. - Delete: was going to suggest redirecting to the singer, but even that article has thread-bare references... Nothing found for this pre-internet musician, perhaps in paper sources, but none that I can see that have been digitized. Oaktree b (talk) 03:55, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Redirect to Jeremy Jordan (singer, born 1973): Unless sufficient print material from Japan can be located, this article does not show sufficient notability of its subject as is. A chart placement is good, but if it only peaked that low then in probably wasn't on the chart for very long (I couldn't tell you because I can't access the book; preview is unavailable on Google Books), and it's hard to call that notable charting. And if that's all the article has going for it, I don't see it passing. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 03:58, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Redirect to Try My Love (Jeremy Jordan album). I'll include the information about it in the Try My Love album article, sinceThe Remix includes 3 songs of the mentioned album in remixes versions. Like I did in the Wikipedia in Portuguese article link to Try My Love - Wikipedia in Portuguese.--Markus WikiEditor (talk) 20:44, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. I don't see significant coverage - one source is a listing from a fan-written encyclopedia, the other is Discogs. I see no utility in a redirect. Bearian (talk) 15:27, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

can be improved by his fans
is an excuse for shoddy work fit for Fandom. Does this one-hit wonder still have fans considering he does not appear to be active since 2011? WP:BEFORE shows very little out there besides Discogs. WP:SIGCOV is too thin for this remix album. This should serve a warning to editors that Wikipedia is not Fandom, not an excuse for entries of obscure albums.
