The result was delete. There is clearly some disagreement here, citing similar lists for other footballers and even an FL. However, the rough consensus is that we do not keep lists of a footballer's international goals by default, and the current level of coverage around João Vieira Pinto's goals have not passed the threshold for standalone list inclusion. - Keep A list of notable achievements by a notable individual, meeting WP:SAL. To say it's useless and not needed is silly, as another 40+ lists like this exist and at least one of them is a Featured List. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 07:47, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delete: Goals scored in an international match should not have their own article. Baseless article. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 13:54, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delete - these kind of lists can be notable, but there is no indication why thus particular player deserves such an article. GiantSnowman 18:11, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- Keep: As per Lugnuts. These are encyclopedic lists. Pinto is notable enough. --Human3015Let It Go 18:35, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delete - Lugnuts argument is fundamentally flawed by the assumption that scoring at international level is an inherently notable achievement. There is no consensus that that is the case. Like GS says, these lists can be notable, but a list for a person who is only the eighth highest goalscorer for his country where there appears to have been no discussion of his international goalscoring prowess outside of stat sites does not indicate notability to me. - Delete - Can't see how this is anything other than fancruft. This would be akin to an article on List of playoff touchdowns by Peyton Manning, which would be just as inappropriate. Onel5969 TT me 13:41, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delete - per rationales of GiantSnowman and Fenix Down. In the absence of significant coverage of the scoring history of the subject player, the notability requirements are not satisfied and the gnashing of teeth about "how important" is the list miss the point completely. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 11:07, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Delete - There is no evidence that this footballer has a list of goals that is notable enough for it's own article. Qed237 (talk) 12:11, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
