Thin Skinned much?
Point to a single instance of vandalism that constitutes something other than disagreeing with you. Regardless, I am reporting you for misconduct on the admin noticeboard. Insanityclown1 (talk) 19:25, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to post-1978 Iranian politics, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
Avoiding an edit war
Hi AlexBobCharles! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Government of Iran several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Government of Iran, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:28, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello . Thanks for the information. Since i do not have the time for such prolonged disputes, i will just leave it and hope someone else fixes the issue AlexBobCharles (talk) 11:41, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
Warning Users
Hi there,
I noticed you are active in reverting vandalism, however, it is necessary to warn users on their user page. You can use the TW menu (standing for Twinkle) and the Warn button. You may also want to use ARV for reporting to AIV and more. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page. Thanks! Myrealnamm's Alternate Account (talk) 13:33, 5 June 2024 (UTC) Whoops, sorry, nevermind. Myrealnamm's Alternate Account (talk) 13:34, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
June 2024
Hello, I'm DuncanHill. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Kunai have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Your edit, which you marked as "useless section" in fact removed the main source used in the article, and also removed the link to the Commons category. Please be more careful in future. DuncanHill (talk) 18:56, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. Since i saw that the source was already listed in the 'References' section i thought the 'Sources' section was redundant. But the article was weirdly formatted in that the ref was not listed in the main body like most articles and was listed in a separate section so this caused my edit to break the article. I have now made it like a normal article and moved the ref to the lead AlexBobCharles (talk) 19:06, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- You need to read WP:CITEVAR. You shouldn't go changing citation styles without getting consensus first. DuncanHill (talk) 19:09, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
