An-Li Bogan is an actress. She appears in the 2024 fantasy comedy film The American Society of Magical Negroes.
Early life
From Norman, Oklahoma, Bogan attended Classen School of Advanced Studies in Oklahoma City.[1] She then attended the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.[2][3][4]
Career
Bogan could be seen in the 2019 horror television series The Unsettling.[5] She appeared in the 2021 film After Yang.[6]
She has a romantic lead role as Lizzie in the 2024 fantasy comedy film The American Society of Magical Negroes, opposite Justice Smith.[7][8] It is her first major film role and Smith praised her work on the film and the changing tone between comedy and drama.[9][10] Smith and Bogan have been praised for the chemistry in the film.[11] Bogan praised the script of the film describing it as "so subtle and clever….I was really excited to dig into embodying the nuances of these dynamics that he was writing about.”[12]
Personal life
Bogan has Irish and Taiwanese heritage.[13][14]
