Wodingtonshire https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dukes_in_the_United_Kingdom
In the Guardian someone posted that the Duke Of Wodingtonshire created the expression "Bloody Norah". https://www.theguardian.com/notesandqueries/query/0,5753,-24596,00.html
When you search for Wodingtonshire this page (below) comes up in Google. As far as I can see there is no Duke Of Wodingtonshire. I think that someone has created a hidden tag on this page.

Thanks, Steve Whitehouse. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.226.65.51 (talk) 03:05, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- I don't see a "hidden tag" on the Dukes in the United Kingdom article about the Duke of Wodingtonshire. I suggest you start a discussion on the article's talk page - Talk:Dukes in the United Kingdom - with the URL you provided as well as more information about the "hidden tag". Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 03:33, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- The Guardian piece actually refers to a 'Duke Wodingtonshire' rather than a 'Duke of Wodingtonshire', and is from their 'notes and queries' section, which solicited replies from readers. As such, it doesn't constitute a reliable source for anything. From a quick Google search, I suspect that said Duke may be entirely fictitious. AndyTheGrump (talk) 03:41, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- The Guardian piece is obviously a joke. There's no reason to believe such a title ever existed. The article Dukes in the United Kingdom has no mention of that name, hidden or otherwise. Maproom (talk) 07:40, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
Using a period after a quoted sentence ending in an ellipsis
Could anyone please tell me what to do when a sentence ends with a quote that ends in an ellipsis? I'm not sure if the last period of the ellipsis constitutes the ending punctuation in and of itself, and the Manual of Style section on ellipses doesn't seem to cover it. I do know that Wikipedia uses logical quotation, though I'm not sure if that has any bearing on this.--Thylacine24 (talk) 03:11, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Thylacine24: The MOS section you linked to says "Place terminal punctuation after an ellipsis only if it is textually important, as is often the case with exclamation marks and question marks but rarely with periods". I take this to mean that you would normally omit the period if the sentence ends with an ellipsis. RudolfRed (talk) 03:42, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @RudolfRed: Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that only applies to the sentence being quoted, not the sentence that the quotation occurs in. Sorry if I'm wrong, sorry if I didn't make that clear in my original post, and also sorry to be condescending.--Thylacine24 (talk) 03:56, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- According to this source regarding MLA usage,[1] you need three ellipsis points and a period within the quote. (On the other hand, the author uses "Ex." instead of "E.g." for the relevant example.) Clarityfiend (talk) 04:24, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- This guide[2] agrees. Clarityfiend (talk) 04:25, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Clarityfiend: Thanks, but I'm a little uncertain about this, since the MOS says that it should "rarely" be done with periods. Could you please tell me if ending the sentence that the quotation is in is an exception?--Thylacine24 (talk) 04:38, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- The MOS seems to contradict itself, at least as far as an ending period goes. "where an ellipsis is immediately followed by any of . ? ! : ; , ) ] }" lumps all of the punctuation marks together, then in the immediately following two examples, treats an ending period differently than a question mark. The last two paragraphs of Ellipsis#American English also make no distinction between periods and other marks: "k...." vs "m...?" and "In legal writing in the United States, .... If an ellipsis ends the sentence, then there are three dots, each separated by a space, followed by the final punctuation ...." (I've always left off the ending period myself.) Clarityfiend (talk) 07:13, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Clarityfiend: Thanks. I'll take your advice.--Thylacine24 (talk) 10:54, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

Draft: Schenck Process Wikipedia article
Dear Wikipedia-Team,
there seems to be a draft version for the company "Schenck Process" in the English Wikipedia. So far, such an article had not existed. How is the review process for draft articles usually and who could help to transform the draft into an actual article? It seems I am not an autoconfirmed user which is why the options I have myself are limited.
The Link of the draft version is as follows: Draft:Schenck Process.
Thank you.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.254.121.6 (talk)
- I have added the appropriate information to allow you to submit the draft for review, although if you were to do so now, it would be rejected quickly, as it is sourced to nothing but the company website. A Wikipedia article should summarize what independent reliable sources say about the company, not what it says about itself.
- If you work for the company, please read about conflict of interest and paid editing for information on required formal disclosures you may have to make. 331dot (talk) 11:14, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

- Hi About672599, I am a little confused which test websites you are referring to.. If you mean the references on the Travel article, that has already been taken care of three days ago: Talk:Travel#Reference_1&2_are_duplicated. If you have a question about something else, then some more details would be helpful. – NJD-DE (talk) 15:12, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Njd-de: Maybe they mean test.wikipedia.org and test2.wikipedia.org? Kleinpecan (talk) 15:15, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @About672599: testwiki: and test2wiki: are more for developers, administrators and other users with advanced rights who can test things without disrupting a normal wiki. There is almost never a reason for new users to make tests there. You can just use Wikipedia:Sandbox or your local sandbox for tests. If you really want to use one of the test wikis then go for testwiki:. PrimeHunter (talk) 15:49, 19 April 2021 (UTC)

Reporting trespassing notification
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
I have found surprising notification that I am irrelevant to the discussion. In nutshell, the message warns me not to organize WP:OS to Wikipedia and otherwise result in block or banned. I haven't edit Gospel of John and Tgeorgescu message sounds like creepy menace. The message reads:
"Please read Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 244#Gospel of John. Read it slowly and carefully and you'll find out why is it of application. If WP:CHOPSY say that the Bible is wrong something, so says Wikipedia. WP:EXTRAORDINARY applies to giving the lie to those universities, especially when they all toe the same line. I oppose WP:PROFRINGE in our articles. You may read the full rationale at WP:NOBIGOTS.
For Wikipedia, WP:FRINGE is what WP:CHOPSY say it's fringe, not what the Christian Church says it's fringe.
Ancient documents and artifacts referring to the Bible may only be analyzed by mainstream Bible scholars (usually full professors from reputable, mainstream universities), as far as Wikipedia is concerned. Your own analysis is unwanted, also, my own analysis is unwanted, and so on, this applies to each and every editor. Wikipedia is not a website for ventilating our own personal opinions.
Wikipedia editors have to WP:CITE WP:SOURCES. That's the backbone of writing all Wikipedia articles. Talk pages of articles are primarily meant for discussing WP:SOURCES.
Original research and original synthesis are prohibited in all their forms as a matter of website policy. Repeated trespassers of such rule will be blocked by website administrators.
Being a Wikipedian means you are a volunteer, not that you are free to write whatever you please. See WP:NOTFREESPEECH and WP:FREE. Same as K12 teachers, Wikipedians don't have academic freedom. Tgeorgescu (talk) 19 April 2021 13:47:39 (UTC)" The Supermind (talk) 16:21, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know what Wikipedia:Oversight has to do with this. Anyway my message was: please kowtow to WP:CHOPSY and WP:RS/AC, and WP:CITE your WP:SOURCES.
- And none of that is creepy, unless your purpose is to violate WP:NOR. I agree that for Wikipedians engaging in original research, that's the creepiest thing they ever heard. Tgeorgescu (talk) 16:35, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
I understand your idea and I am confident to obey WP:CHOPSY. I trust in commitment of scientific consensus that what Wikipedia want, and I have to thank you for your teaching. However your message is irrelevant in accordance with editor actions. You have to notify me as I do wrong with the policy and guideline. I haven't edit Gospel of John. Your message intimidate me in sense. Anyway, I will accept your basic suggestion here please. Thanks. The Supermind (talk) 16:47, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
Save edits as drafts?
Is there any sort of tool or feature that will let me save edits as drafts?
I sometimes start editing a page then realise it's going to take me longer to finish the edit than I planned. I would like to be able to just automatically save it to sandbox or something so I can come back to it. Right now I just copy-paste into my sandbox but it feels like there ought to be a simpler way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Popcornfud (talk • contribs)
- @Popcornfud: You can just publish your edits on the page you're working on and leave an edit summary describing that you're making a partial edit. (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this:
~~~~
. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 17:20, 19 April 2021 (UTC)- Doesn't work for the situations I'm talking about, unfortunately - specifically ones that would leave the page as an unfinished mess. - OK so it sounds like based on these replies the thing I'm asking for doesn't exist. Thanks both. Popcornfud (talk) 18:12, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Popcornfud: Copy the text to Notepad or a similar text editor. You can always click edit and replace the text with your draft to preview, but don't need to publish. Then as you make changes, you simply copy the updated text back to Notepad again. Just be careful that you don't overwrite other people's (or bots') subsequent edits with your new text. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 19:30, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, yes, but this is exactly what I've been doing for years - pasting into another doc or a sandbox. I was asking if there was an automated way to do this. Popcornfud (talk) 19:47, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Popcornfud: It shouldn't be automated, such as putting the current text into some sort of cache for you to edit, since you might accidentally overwrite something you weren't supposed to, depending on how frequently the article is being edited. Even frequently editing the Teahouse or Help Desk gives me numerous edit conflict alerts that I have to address. Using old school manual notepad or sandbox methods are the best ways. TimTempleton (talk) (cont)
- @Popcornfud: - you can also use the {{in use}} template – to tell others not to edit while that shows, to minimize edit conflicts. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 18:54, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
ProQuest
How do you properly cite from ProQuest in Wikipedia's format (As in Template:Citenews)? I've had no choice but to cite everything from there in standards such as ČSN ISO 690:2011. There also doesn't seem to be any option to archive sources either, unless I'm missing something? ToQ100gou (talk) 07:00, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- @ToQ100gou:, there is a plugin called ProveIt, that contains templates for almost every citation requirement. It also has a very handy DOI importer, so you can just copy/paste the DOI of the document you want to cite, and it will autofill the template. I find that it makes citation insertion much less tedious/prone to mistakes. BrxBrx(talk)(please reply with {{SUBST:re|BrxBrx}}) 18:24, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- @BrxBrx: Thanks a lot, this does make citing less tedious. I forgot to mention that a lot of what I am citing are periodicals that don't have DOIs, and because ProQuest is subscription based, I've found no way to add a URL to the article. I can manually add the name, author, newspaper and date, but it wants a URL. ToQ100gou (talk) 00:24, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- @ToQ100gou:, not all the fields in the template must be filled. You can just leave the URL out and manually add the information you need. Unfortunately, the importer doesn't work well if you don't have a URL or a DOI to input. BrxBrx(talk)(please reply with {{SUBST:re|BrxBrx}}) 18:34, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
HTML/Wiki formatting of article List of vegans
Hi, List of vegans currently has a panel of images next to the list which works on PC but not well on mobile. Is there a coding help desk, a list of formatting wizzes, or someone on here who could give us (three active editors) some suggestions on the formatting? Many thanks, Trimton (talk) 11:55, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Trimton: what is the photo list not doing that you want it to do? In mobile view the photos come first, and if you select desktop at the bottom of your mobile browser, it performs the same as on a desktop. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 18:59, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- I just ran my standard cleanup script on it just in case there was a subtle HTML error that was only showing up on Mobile. Trimton, please recheck and describe exactly what is wrong just to make sure that you and TimTempleton are seeing the same thing.
- BTW, that page is awful. The huge row of pictures is really annoying to scroll past, and the info on an individual is in two places. The page really needs to have that row of images changed to a table with rows and columns, maybe with thumbnails. --Guy Macon (talk) 20:43, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks,TimTempleton and Guy Macon. Sorry for being vague. Right now the images only show a few individuals, an aspect we could retain. But on mobile, they are displayed before the list which, as Guy Macon says, is really annoying. How would we let it show after the list? Or do you see other alternatives? Guy Macon you're proposing we integrate the images as thumbnails into the actual table. Did I get that right? Trimton (talk) 21:08, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
Circa date ranges in |date= parameter
I've noticed that in the article Tragic Prelude, there is a "Check date values" error in reference #4 ("Description of Murals for Kansas State House"). I referenced Help:CS1_errors#bad_date, but the date value in the citation seems to comply with both date range and circa rules. Thus, I am not sure whether there is a separate, correct way to format circa date ranges, or whether that option even exists. GeneralPoxter (talk • contribs) 14:55, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- The quote in Tragic Prelude is cited to the online source: "Cross-Curricular Connect: Tragic Prelude" at charlesmcquillen.com. There the quote is repeated and cited to an archive. For the purposes of en.wiki, it is sufficient to cite WP:WHEREYOUREADIT so, perhaps something like:
- John Steuart Curry quoted in: McQuillen, Charles (March 25, 2017). "Cross-Curricular Connect: Tragic Prelude". McQuillen Studios.
- With regard to the 'circa' question, a range of dates is already approximate so for the purposes of cs1|2, the 'c.' prefix is redundant.
- —Trappist the monk (talk) 15:33, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- That makes sense. GeneralPoxter (talk • contribs) 17:32, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
Grammar in articles
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a consensus for how grammar, spelling and sentence structure mistakes should be approached when editing an article. I often find grammatical errors and was wondering if I should be correcting them, or if there is one "style" I should be using when I do fix these kinds of mistakes. If anyone has links to other articles or talk pages that have a general answer for this, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Redf1veXW (talk) 17:21, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Articles should conform to our manual of style. You'll find it at WP:MOS. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:36, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- And you need to be aware of WP:ENGVAR as well, Redf1veXW. --ColinFine (talk) 19:43, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, IP user. If there is an improvement that you think should be made to a Wikipedia article or page that is protected, you can make the suggestion on the corresponding talk page, and tag it as an edit request. But you'll need to be specific about what you think should be changed: "many grammatical errors" is not helpful (and some of them may not even be errors, but different varieties of English from what you're used to). --ColinFine (talk) 21:21, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
Correct description of year values in Weather box template
Thinking about this is hurting my brain, so I'm wondering if I can get a little help: if I use {{Weather box}}
to automatically calculate "year" values when all month values are provided, then what is the correct textual description of the, say, high temperature values of the year cell? Is it "average annual" high temperature? I think this would imply a correct "average of averages", which I don't think holds (though I'm not sure). Or would it be something like "average monthly" high temperature? Hopefully this question makes sense. Thanks, Brycehughes (talk) 00:21, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Prophet Muhammad's picture
I was reading the article on Prophet Muhammad and there is a picture of him as depicted by a 15th Century Frenchmen. It is well known and understood that this is a deeply offensive imagery to a wide majority of Muslims. I do not know how to edit the page as it seems locked but it is something that would be commendable if taken down. The image is unnecessary and does Not add anything to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.160.96.170 (talk) 08:58, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Racially inappropriate content
Hi there
Id like to report some racially inappropriate content on the grime page.
Please remove the word "aggressive". No music is aggressive, it is music. I think all these micro reminders contribute to a larger issue with the association of aggression in black music and black culture. In this day and age I think we should do better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.4.33.209 (talk) 09:30, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources state. If sources refer to the music in that way, then Wikipedia does too. If the sources do not use that term, then it should be removed. 331dot (talk) 10:48, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- In this case the source [4] says: "Grime, garage rap's younger sibling, was relatively jagged and aggressive - it's where the legacies of hardcore rap and hardcore techno collide -- and is sometimes downright punishing." A Google search indicates it's common to say aggressive about Grime (music genre). PrimeHunter (talk) 13:10, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
New article
Hello,
I'd like to make a wikipedia article for the musician/producer LXXXICON, but don't know what the criteria is for such an article. Is it okay to self publish such an article, or does this violate wikipedia terms? What is the criteria for making a new article on wikipedia for music?
Thanks! LXXXICON (talk) 10:34, 21 April 2021
- Hi, see Help:Your first article and Wikipedia:Notability (music). (Also please don't forget to sign your posts.) Kleinpecan (talk) 10:38, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- LXXXICON If you are not LXXXICON, you will need to change your username, you may do so at Special:GlobalRenameRequest or WP:CHUS, or just abandon this account and create a new one. If you are him, please be aware of the autobiography policy and An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. Please be aware of conflict of interest and paid editing as well.
- Wikipedia has no interest in aiding LXXXICON's career, or helping their fans. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a musician. 331dot (talk) 10:46, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Logos under copyright and trademark tag in Spanish
Hi to all,
I would like to ask if someone can help me with a logo in a Spanish page. The logo is covered by copyright and it is a TradeMark, but it can be found on the company pages in other languages, but not in the Spanish one. I would like to add the logo there too. Is there a way to add it with a TM mark? Or any other way? I saw that other companies have the mark: Public domain TM, for example https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple#/media/Archivo:Apple_logo_black.svg. Would it be possible to do something similar? I have all the information about the logo I would like to insert.
Thank you very much!
--Andreanabo23 (talk) 10:45, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Andreanabo23: Wikipedia languages often have different policies. I don't know Spanish but Spanish Wikipedia#Differences from other Wikipedias says:
- The Spanish Wikipedia only accepts free images, and has rejected fair use since 2004, after a public vote.[1] In 2006, it was decided to phase out the use of local image uploads and to exclusively use Wikimedia Commons for images and other media in the future.[2]
- commons:File:Apple logo black.svg is public domain so it can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and displayed in the Spanish Wikipedia. Most logos are non-free and cannot be displayed there. Trademark and copyright are different concepts with different legal and Wikipedia rules. The English Wikipedia allows fair-use logos for display in the article about the organization. I see you also have replies at commons:Commons:Help desk/Archive/2021/03#Copyright logo on a multi-language page. If your question is still about File:Eni SpA.svg then I see no way to display it in the Spanish Wikipedia unless the owner releases it with a free license which allows everybody in the World to display it. That is unlikely to happen. Companies are protective of their logos. PrimeHunter (talk) 13:00, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
References
- @PrimeHunter: Thank you very much for your reply. I was waiting for other replies in the commons:Commons:Help desk/Archive/2021/03#Copyright logo on a multi-language page page, since they asked me more info about the logo. I was thinking maybe it was possible to insert the image as Public Domain but with the TM mark, so that there would still be some protection of the copyright.
I understand from your reply that there is no way to do that, or to take the logo from other company pages, so thank you again for your help! --Andreanabo23 (talk) 13:40, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Song
Hello! I was just wondering if I can create a wiki page for the song popular song "Chug Chug With You" by Leviathan on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0Uh3OJCx3o This is the link for the song. Russell Wilson 223 (talk) 12:40, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Russell Wilson 223 You may create a Wikipedia article(not a mere "page") if the song meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable song, as shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources. - Escorban-Han Reviews are conducted by volunteers in no particular order, and there are thousands of drafts awaiting review, so patience is required. 331dot (talk) 15:59, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Escorban-Han which three of the sources cited in that draft do most, in your view, to establish that she is notable? (You might be able to speed up the formal review process by removing some of those that do least.) Maproom (talk) 15:59, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
I have cited several of them from apnews, thespun,espnexpressroom, mandatory, bizjournals, indystar etc, you can click on the refs to view them. Escorban-Han (talk) 16:55, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Escorban-Han, I don't think you quite understood Maproom's suggestion. Looking at the titles of your citations, it's pretty obvious that many of them are based on press releases. However reliable the publication is, an article based on a press release is not indepedent of the subject, and so does not contribute in any way to establishing their notability. --ColinFine (talk) 21:01, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Help with adding to my mother's wikipedia page
Hello, I'm very confused about how to make edits to my mother's Wikipedia page. She was a public figure. The page is a stub right now, I don't know who added it, but it seems it was created based on her obituary. I spent a significant amount of time adding to it in order to fill out the info on her, and referenced publicly available sources for all the edits I made. Some time after the, a wiki bot came through the page and wiped out every edit I made. I need help understanding who can make those additions if not me. For what it's worth I have my mother's power of attorney and am trustee of her estate. What other credentials are needed to make changes to her page?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackie'sOldestDaughter (talk • contribs)
- Jackie'sOldestDaughter Your edits were not removed by a bot, but by a human.(there was a bot edit in between which is probably why you thought that) As you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid in most cases directly editing the article about your mother, but you may make formal edit requests(click for instructions) on the article talk page (Talk:Jackie Young (politician)) detailing changes you feel are needed. 331dot (talk) 15:57, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
Souldier Brand
Hello Wiki Team,
I would like to start a page for the Souldier Brand. We have been in business for 16 years and hold US and international trademarks in most categories of product under the name Souldier. I cannot register the name Souldier as a user name. Someone put out an album under this name after our presence in the music industry and market. What can I do about this and what are suggestions on how to proceed?
Souldier is a world-wide manufacturer of guitar straps and lifestyle goods based in the music industry with artist relationships from Taylor Swift to Aerosmith.
Please advise.
- There isn't much we can do about the username, though your username should not be that of your company, since accounts are for specific individuals. You could format your name as "JohnPublic of Souldier". However, you seem to have a common misconception about Wikipedia. It is not a place for companies to have "pages" about themselves. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia with articles. Those articles (in this case) are typically written by independent editors, and should summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Wikipedia is not interested in what a company wants to say about itself, only in what those completely unconnected with the company choose on their own to say about it(no press releases, announcements of routine business activities, brief mentions, staff interviews or primary sources). Please review conflict of interest and paid editing, as well as WP:ORGFAQ for more information. 331dot (talk) 16:32, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Jen. I'd suggest you WP:REGISTER a username like "Jen at Souldier", you can't have just "Souldier" because of a rule called WP:CORPNAME. Now, with a ton of caveats, based on that I found this [5] article, it may be possible to start a WP-article about your company that "sticks". Maybe. Take the time to read Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing. If, after reading that, you still want to try, you can talk to me at my talkpage. They may also show in the desktop version if you have selected the skin "MinervaNeue" or "Timeless" at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering. The articles are added automatically by a search feature which may not have run yet on the new Philip Perlman (actor). A problem I have
For a long time now,I've been able to look things up on this website on my flip phone. Yesterday morning,it got a lot harder. I got an invalid certificate warning which made it impossible for me to change to Desktop mode there or sometimes to even get onto the site itself. Why is this happening? I don't know why it's doing this. The thing that pops up on my flip phone whenever I try to change to Desktop mode says this:"The site you are attempting to access has a non-standard security certificate. Your personal data may not be secured. Click 'Accept certificate' if you consent to send your personal data. Click 'CLR' or 'BACK' button on your device to cancel this request." And,so on. Every time I click on the "Accept certificate" button,it doesn't want to do it. It just stays there. I don't know why it's doing this. Up until a couple of days ago,it never did anything like this. Why is it doing this now? My IP for my flip phone is 107.167.127.97. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.2.138.17 (talk) 13:06, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
I see IBDB - Internet Broadway Database is not listed in WP:RSP, but my question is. Is it a reliable source?. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MoviesandTelevisionFan (talk • contribs) 16:31, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, MoviesandTelevisionFan. The place to ask is the WP:Reliable sources noticeboard. Searching the archives of that, I see that it has been discussed there at least half a dozen times, but I haven't looked at the discussions to see whether there was a concensus or not. I note that, even if it is held to be reliable, it doesn't look as if it has significant coverage of anything, so it will not count towards notability for any subject. --ColinFine (talk) 17:28, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
