Drowned God
- Template:Did you know nominations/Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
You didn't miscalculate; I made a miscalculation. Because of that, you have expanded a little bit. Therefore, maybe it would be recommended that you need another reviewer. Nevertheless, if possible, I might have enough time to review all the references if all is settled and done with. --George Ho (talk) 13:43, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
July drive
Hi Torchiest. The drive discussion seems to have slowed down, though I don't think it has really bottomed out all questions. I'm thinking of starting a new section tomorrow, summarising on the basis that I suspect that the latest statements not to have been challenged may represent a consensus, and inviting everyone to express any differing views. If that goes well, I can then create the drive page on Wednesday (20th). Are you happy with that plan? Are there any issues you'd like addressed before we do that? I've also asked Allen and Dianna. Cheers, Simon. --Stfg (talk) 20:09, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

- Not sure. I already notified Wizardman, one of the coordinators, about the potential problems a few days ago, so he may pick them up if they drift into limbo. —Torchiest talkedits 17:57, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
GOCE July 2012 Copy Edit Drive
Invitation from the Guild of Copy Editors
The Guild of Copy Editors invites you to participate in their July 2012 Backlog elimination drive, a month-long effort to reduce the size of the copy edit backlog. The drive begins on July 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and ends on July 31 at 23:59 (UTC). Our goals are to eliminate the articles tagged in April, May and June 2011 from the queue and to complete all requests placed before the end of June. Barnstars will be awarded to anyone who copy edits more than 4,000 words, and special awards will be given to the top 6 in the following categories: "Number of articles", "Number of words", "Number of articles of over 5,000 words", "Number of articles tagged in April–June 2011", and "Longest article". We hope to see you there! – Your drive coordinators: Dank, Diannaa and Stfg. To discontinue receiving GOCE newsletters, please remove your name from our mailing list. New drive signup method
Hi. That was a quick month! I took a quick look but probably need to spend a bit more time getting my mind round it, and RL is busy today. I'm not overlooking it, but it may be tomorrow or the next day before I can spend serious time with it. Best, --Stfg (talk) 10:05, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
- No problem, and no hurry. Like I said, I only have the basic structure of it, with (most of) the technical details figured out, but I'm pretty sure there is a good amount of fine tuning that will be required. —Torchiest talkedits 13:35, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
(←) Thanks. I've had a quick test drive just now. There seems to be a small bug in that the code doesn't fill in the username -- see the created version of the .../Stfg file. Anyway, that's a detail at the moment. Let me play back my understanding to you and you can correct it if I've misunderstood.
So: I enter my username Stfg in the box and click the button, and it creates a new file called Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Backlog elimination drives/month/Stfg. Then I paste into the Participants section the line that transcludes this file into the drive page itself. Thereafter, I list my articles by clicking "add articles to your list", which edits that file. Reviewers do the same thing to mark articles reviewed. People still need to go get their rollover words (although it doesn't matter if they don't, as I always go through and check/add those). This is just checking my understanding at the moment. How is it? Cheers, --Stfg (talk) 10:50, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, your understanding is correct. As for first part, it's not sure much a bug as just a feature that doesn't exist yet. :) I don't know if the button and can auto-fill that part on its own, since it's using the name you enter to create the page, which I think is about the limit of its powers. But the instructions on the newly created page do say to fill in the name parameter yourself. That was one of my questions: could the instructions be clearer, or more complete? —Torchiest talkedits 12:56, 30 June 2012 (UTC)
Dahn Yoga
I understand your position on the issue is due to being brainwashed into Dahn Yoga. But this does not mean you can use Wikipedia to advertise anything that has not been proven.
And please refer to under which "talk page consensus" did you revert the edit back.

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
