RHETORICAL ADVISORY #1:
If you feel your head is about to explode, imagine your rhetorical acts here ...

Rhyme time
Hi Proo. While working on a fuddy-duddy article I came across this poetic story [1] (you have to scroll up a bit to get to the beginning). As someone who shares my interest in the finer arts I thought you might enjoy it. ChildofMidnight (talk) 23:05, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry to see a fucking fuddy-duddy has nominated fuddy-duddy for speedy ... but thank you, CoM, yes we are connoisseur's of the highest sort ... and in that capacity I direct your attention to this bit of eloquence in the realm of soapy-ness -- Proofreader77 (interact) 23:21, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Ever since the deletion of the pederastic history of Japan or whatever that article was called, I try to stay away from groups of kids in the tub... But I do like me some Shel Silverstein. I learned about getting as much as I can out of nature from his beautiful story The Giving Tree. If only trees could do more for me after I've already used them to climb on, swing from, cook with, for a tree house, shade, siding and to make tables and chairs out of. But alas it's not a perfect world and there's not much that can be done with stumps.
- Have you been following all the crazy action going on around the 'pedia. There was even a juicy tidbit about using the wording "you people" that drew an accusation of racism. Am I supposed to be clipping these things as fodder for your script? I know how you people can be testy about auteurship.
- Anyway, I hope all is well with your rub a dub dub. Wait a minute that doesn't sound good at all. Tug a tug tug. Hmmm... still downhill. Roses are red, violets are blue, Wikipedia is a sickness, and you've got the flu. Or something. Oh well. Maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.
- By the way, I found that some of Charlotte Pomerantz's rhymes were a bit off. I wonder if she'd be willing to try crowd sourcing? A children's book that anyone can edit? Would it need to be uncensored??? Jeepers willaby. It's a scary out there Beaver. Well, if you have anything to add at fuddy-duddy it's being prodded. All of these words have double meanings. Yikes. I am now going to exercise my right to remain silent. Cheerios. ChildofMidnight (talk) 03:53, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- Auteurship my ass. :-) What kind of F-ing Wikipedia musical would it be if ONE asshole wrote it?!? LoL
Nope, we'll have to figure out how to collaboratively write a musical ...
And, yep, there sure is heck a lot of fodder lately ... Couldn't make this stuff up, could ya? No way in hell.
Pondering. You keep pondering too ... We'll figure it out, by and by. :-) Proofreader77 (interact) 06:02, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

No cake? ChildofMidnight (talk) 05:04, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- You want Rachel Maddow AND cake? :-) Proofreader77 (interact) 05:06, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- I was going to post "where's my cake bitch" but I figured it would show up in some ANI report. They're listening everywhere... Who is this Rachel Maddow? Some sort of female Jerry Springer? ChildofMidnight (talk) 06:25, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
![](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/71/IceBlockNearJoekullsarlon.jpg/220px-IceBlockNearJoekullsarlon.jpg)
- And I've had to refactor my strategic comment at AN ... LoL No one fully appreciates our (different) rhetorical magics, CoM ... We're even over Rachel Maddow's non-TV-watching head. :-)
Meanwhile ... Do you play a musical instrument? Sing? -- Proofreader77 (interact) 06:35, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- I've got a couple notes down on the Kazoo. Are you recasting me into the orchestra? I was expecting to be the innocent bystander that gets killed off in the muscial's highly tragic first scene. ChildofMidnight (talk) 19:03, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- I was wondering if you might be able to compose your own song in the musical ... But, ah yes, clearly the musical will be a tragi-comedy ... and if you wish to bite the bullet first, we can negotiate. :-) Proofreader77 (interact) 19:46, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

- Did someone mention cake? Mmm, I'm off to get some nuts and candy peel and some icing sugar, I think we should bake a 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics celebratory snow icing cake. Off2riorob (talk) 08:03, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent! I knew you wouldn't let the sweet spirit of amigo cake go unbaked. :-) Proofreader77 (interact) 08:16, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- Great! I will be back from shopping with all the ingredients later, perhaps a little warm rum to wash it down with or spiced orange juice if preferred. Off2riorob (talk) 08:25, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- Rum! Even more excellent. Perfect. What a great cook, and friend, you are. Proofreader77 (interact) 08:40, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Guys! Someone told me that there's a party happening here. Sir Floyd (talk)
- Welcome, Sir Floyd ... We're celebrating CoM's In Trouble Again Day. :-) ... As you can see, Off2's baking and bringing rum for cake-washing-down. :-) Proofreader77 (interact) 09:35, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Rum is good, but I've brought some ice and a Black Label, standard US edition in 750mL bottle. Hope it's ok. Hmmmmm, (pouring & adding Ice) this is the life. Here's to "ChildofMidnight" Cheers! Well I'm off I will be back to check out the cake. I hear Off2riorob is a good cake baker. Sir Floyd (talk) 10:52, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

- Armcom, those guys are busy busy, they are not bothered with us mortals, if your at Arbcom you are in trouble that is good advice, they are there to sanction...that is like being ..well..you can imagine and without any lube. Off2riorob (talk) 20:36, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
As you may have noticed, I am waiting until they are less busy. :-) Proofreader77 (interact) 20:38, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

- You know perfectly well how blocking works. Why would you want a template to tell you once again? I gave you a personal message instead, which is actually more polite. If you want a template on your page, you know where to find them; feel free to paste one yourself if you like. Oh, I only forgot to tell you the block duration, it's 48hrs, but I'm sure you found that out already. Fut.Perf. ☼ 21:53, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
