Warning
I'm surprised to see you engaged in the same activity (revert warring over sources, editing the same articles) that got you blocked in the first place. Your disregarding the warnings of myself and others is not appreciated. Please stop, or you will be blocked for a longer period. Thanks. PeterSymonds (talk) 19:03, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
{{help}}(Off2riorob (talk) 19:35, 26 March 2009 (UTC)) I am sourceing books and inserting cites in good faith. please could I have a comment from an independant admin(Off2riorob (talk) 19:35, 26 March 2009 (UTC)).
You added a link here, which was reverted by another user here. You then added it again, here. This is the beginnings of an edit war, and against policy.
If you add information, and another user removes it, do not add it again. Instead, go to the article discussion page (the "talk page") and discuss your proposed change, giving clear reasons why you think it should be added. Discuss it there with other users, and try to reach a WP:consensus. If you are unable to agree, follow the dispute resolution policy.
I hope this is clear; if you have further questions, please do ask again - and if you're ever unsure how to proceed, ask before taking action.
If you stick to the guidelines, you won't have any further problems.
Good luck, and happy editing. -- Chzz ► 19:43, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello there. I have been monitoring your progress with interest, but I still have a few concerns. For example, here you question the reliability of a source without actually giving the source or why you believe it is unreliable. Here you question the validity of the infobox, which is technically you're right, but do bear in mind that this person's notability derives from their crime. Therefore it is not POV to use the criminal infobox. Here, as long as there is a free version available, you can suggest it. But it must be free or compliant with our non-free content criteria, and also, similar to my point above, this person's notability derives from the crime, so the photograph is appropriate and encyclopedic. Further up, you repeat your question about the infobox, which is not appropriate; please be patient and wait for responses, rather than hitting the page with posts about different things. It just keeps the talk page cleaner, and people are much more likely to respond if they see you are waiting patiently. Here you go so far as proposing the deletion of a good article, which is bordering on disruptive. The page is actively maintained by Cirt (talk · contribs), with acknowledged skill regarding these articles, and he does a very good job in ensuring bad content gets removed. I can only imagine this comment is the result of your past disagreements, but you must put those aside. I do not want to see you blocked again for disruptive editing, so I hope you take my advice on board in the future. Good luck. PeterSymonds (talk) 18:59, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- hello peter..more threats from you to ban me again..I thought you were a bit keen the first time..still ..I am working hard to :never give you the chance to do it again. I thank you for your advice.?warning..(Off2riorob (talk) 19:15, 30 March 2009 (UTC))
- I was not threatening, merely suggesting. Thank you for taking my advice on board; I hope it will benefit your editing. PeterSymonds (talk) 19:20, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

True colors
Hi, would you mind sharing what my true colors are? Powder blue is a flattering shade, but I was thinking of changing to rose. You seem to be an expert on these things. ;) Cheers, DurovaCharge! 15:09, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, would you like to engage in dialog? Yes, in 2007 I did make a big mistake. It's a little bit curious how you've formed such a strong opinion about events that occurred more than a year before you joined the project, and insist that I haven't changed without (so far as I'm aware) ever interacting with me. Let's talk. DurovaCharge! 21:57, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, dialogue is not really what I am after but thanks for the invitation...your correct in saying we have never met ..I was reading some of your posts and stumbled upon your comment page ..and left a comment ..that I felt it unwise to give you any power/responsibility..after what you did with it the first time , thats all ....(Off2riorob (talk) 22:18, 8 April 2009 (UTC))
- Actually that was Synergy's comment page. He didn't ask me when he started it. Are you aware I'm a sysop at three other WMF projects, or that your post to my user talk interrupted a discussion about a featured article drive by an editor I'm currently mentoring? You seem to reach conclusions quickly. DurovaCharge! 22:55, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

- yes I will have first to remind you of my comment to you that ..right now.. I am not really wanting to enter into dialogue with you .. only offering a comment..thats all.(Off2riorob (talk) 23:05, 8 April 2009 (UTC))
- Well, having posted to my user talk and then posted repeatedly to someone else's user page about me, including starting a threaded discussion with a question at the latter, would generally be taken as a desire for dialog. What would you expect me to do, other than this? DurovaCharge! 23:11, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Rob, if you are not interested in discussion with an editor, there is only one legitimate excuse for dropping a note on their page: formal notice or warning. You edit warred with a user on their page, you could be blocked for that. You seem to be getting into trouble rather often for such a new editor. I'd suggest that you consider that the people you are interacting with may have many years more experience here than you and do usually have some idea what they are doing. Durova made a mistake in 2007, yes. And she promptly admitted it and fixed her mistake in well under an hour. There was a big flap for reasons that had little to do with the mistake, the mob was screaming for blood, and she resigned the adminship rather than allow disruption of the project with extensive wikidrama; even after she resigned, it continued for some time. (My belief is that, had she not resigned, she would ultimately not have been desysopped, though there are uncertain political considerations operating at the time.) I certainly don't always agree with Durova, but when I don't, I stop and think: maybe I'm wrong. You don't have a clue, yet you barge in with strong opinions. Bad idea. Offering comments, fine. But dropping bombs, no. Comments are okay if intended to discuss.
- Now, what was it that she did which offended you and formed the basis of your opinion that she was inappropriate for adminship? You have made accusations, but you have not been specific. Please be specific. If not, I start to have dark thoughts. Enlighten me. --Abd (talk) 02:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

- I have passed an opinion ..that is all ..I oppose durava's reappointment as admin ..both you and durova herslf state here ..that she made a big mistake!..So I dissagree with your actions ..that is not the end of the world ...there will always be two sides to a story ..as I said..I formed my opinion as I said by reading the users contributions .so ..this ..I oppose durova's reappointment as admin ..is not a comment for disscussion it is a statement ..you ..durova and the rest of the cabal don't like it .. but it is still my opinion..and it has been strengthened by the comments here.the page where I commented actually to me looked like a usertalk page and thats what I thought it was and comments and opinions were being requested there User:Synergy/Durova .. and my comment was removed and removed again.. and I had no idea that it was only for comments in support of durova and I thought that that kind of closed cabal kind of situation wasn't allowed here.early on in this situation I stated that I do not want to disscuss over this so I would appreciate it if you would allow me that pleasure,(Off2riorob (talk) 13:38, 9 April 2009 (UTC))
Lack of politeness
I would appreciate the citing of any examples of my impoliteness in or related to the current ANI thread. Unless you consider the previous sentence confrontational. :-) Paul Beardsell (talk) 19:30, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Admin
mmmheeehhh I'm an admin, look at me, I'm so cool, don't disagree with me or I'll block you. I have a load of admin friends too, and we all hate anyone who disagrees with us. We don't care about being conducive to free editing and are working diligently to amend the constitution of Jimmy Wales. We arn't trolls, we are chimeras.
Chimaras
thank you for an independant assesment ... thanks for the laugh. I had to do a search for chimeras... this one? Chimera (mythology) (Off2riorob (talk) 13:43, 9 April 2009 (UTC))
That's the one! It's a better description than I could have ever hoped for, lolz. Niubrad (talk) 22:22, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
