| The [[WP:Arbitration Committee|Arbitration Committee]] has permitted [[WP:Administrators|administrators]] to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at [[Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions]]) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to the [[Arab-Israeli conflict]]. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the [[Wikipedia:Five pillars|purpose of Wikipedia]], any expected [[Wikipedia:Etiquette|standards of behavior]], or any [[Wikipedia:List of policies|normal editorial process]]. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read in the [[Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision]] section of the decision page. |

Welcome!
Hello, Floccinauci, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes ~~~~, which will automatically produce your name and the date.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place{{helpme}}
on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Span (talk) 19:29, 21 February 2011 (UTC)April 2011
Please stop edit warring at Ahava. In particular, you have no consensus to remove the image in question. Four different editors (Noon, myself, Sean.hoyland, and ElComandanteChe) have supported inclusion of the image in the article, while no other editors agree with you. The image shows what the product looks like and illustrates one way that the product is marketed. Use of the image doesn't "promote" the company any more than any image about any product promotes it; see for instance the Chevrolet Corvette article, which includes many product images including several with models in them.
I realize that everything having to do with Israeli-Palestinian relations gets emotional, but your objections basically come down to your WP:IDONTLIKEIT antipathy towards the company. Also realize that all articles related to the Arab–Israeli conflict are on a tighter leash regarding edit warring and that you've already crossed the line. - Edit warring will be reported. You have no consensus for removing the image. You have also removed the lead section. That is vandalism. Please stop.--Geewhiz (talk) 07:04, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
- And I thought you might be capable of productive editing. Seems like I misjudged, but I still hope I am proven wrong. Maybe you should try your skills at editing a different subject, possibly one that is less connected to your personal politics. Introducing weasel wording into articles and deleting sourced material is not the purpose of Wikipedia.--Geewhiz (talk) 05:44, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
