Photos are routinely mis-identified, either in the records attached to them, or in material added to them in subsequent prints. As an example of the latter, see [[:File:Prinz Adalbert class cruiser.png|this photo]]; when printed as a postcard, it was mis-identified as {{SMS|Elsass}}, but is in reality a {{sclass-|Prinz Adalbert|cruiser|1}}. The USN archives available through history.navy.mil is rife with errors that I've had to correct over the years. This is why we cannot just take a photo that purports to be something and take it at face value, as there is no real fact checking. Hello, I'm Denniss. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 10.5 cm K gepanzerte Selbstfahrlafette have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. Denniss (talk) 07:59, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Milana Vayntrub, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please read WP:RS/IMDb. IMDb is not a reliable source. Elizium23 (talk) 17:50, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Panzer II, you may be blocked from editing. I explained multiple times your changes are completely wrong but you chose to ignore that. On using photos as sources
Photos are routinely mis-identified, either in the records attached to them, or in material added to them in subsequent prints. As an example of the latter, see this photo; when printed as a postcard, it was mis-identified as SMS Elsass, but is in reality a Template:Sclass-. The USN archives available through history.navy.mil is rife with errors that I've had to correct over the years. This is why we cannot just take a photo that purports to be something and take it at face value, as there is no real fact checking. Parsecboy (talk) 20:17, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
