Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:52, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content to this article. Per WP:BLP policy, you need to cite a source for such content. And it probably doesn't belong in the lede anyway - the article lede is supposed to summarise content, and isn't a repository for material not discussed elsewhere. Possible single-purpose account
I have noticed that all of the edits from this IP address (save a single edit made in 2008) have been for articles related to ISIL, mostly to add pro-ISIL content. This makes you seem like you are using a single-purpose account solely for adding pro-ISIL content. Please remember that Wikipedia is not a means of promotion, and edits should be neutral and free of bias (especially with a topic as controversial as ISIL). While you are free to have your own opinion on the matter, Wikipedia is not the place to discuss it. We welcome people who are willing to help improve Wikipedia, and I have posted this since I assume good faith in you and your edits, and hope to see you make more contributions to the site. Sonictrey (talk) 16:47, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
makes a change from wikipedia acting as american propaganda against IS, right? im trying to make the articles more balanced and neutral rather than reading like obamas speeches im acting in good faith in this, im not trying to slant articles to be pro-IS obviously im wasting my time here though, since bias of the editors is clear when they revert every useful addition i make
If you feel that an article has an anti-ISIL bias, you are free to discuss it with other editors on its talk page, and I have notice you have already done so with several articles, which is good. But please do not edit articles to remove any perceived bias without discussion, especially for a topic as controversial as ISIL, with the exception of obvious vandalism like "America rules ISIL drools". We protect pages like those for a reason. Sonictrey (talk) 17:35, 13 April 2015 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, you may be blocked from editing. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 16:26, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Didn't mean to delete/edit any comments other than my own Sorry if I did it accidentally
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Mosul, you may be blocked from editing. Quinto Simmaco (talk) 23:57, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Eastern Lightning. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Nobody has reverted it since I last edited it. It seems pretty obvious that eastern lighting cannot in anyway be called a terrorist organisation as its primary designation since it has never done any terrorist attacks., it's a new religious movement, so it's hardly a controversial edit from a neutral point of view 87.244.94.46 (talk) 12:34, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
- Being "right" and something being "obvious" would probably make you feel happier while you are sitting out a block, but you are always expected to avoid edit-warring even if every source in the universe is on your side. On any page at all. That includes The Fourteen Infallibles, for example. Consider yourself warned. I look forward to your well-sourced contributions and discussions rather than edit-warring. Managing a conflict of interest
Hello, 87.244.94.46. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. -- Aronzak (talk) 12:51, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Theresa May, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 16:25, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

I was just about to add sources eg. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/islamic-state/11490030/British-Islamic-State-fighter-calls-for-Muslims-to-kill-Theresa-May.html
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Do we have a Daesh (ISIL) sympathizer?. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:56, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

Please read this notification carefully:
A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the Syrian Civil War and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.
General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
