Revision as of 02:45, 20 December 2006
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Re: Alan.ca
He might just be a perfectionist when it comes to copyright. Normally that would be okay, but he is taking it to far. By his logic anyone can make us seek their approval for any image by uploading it to their homepage and tagging it "copyright me". I think we will have to find an administrator to settle this. --Arctic Gnome 22:02, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- I would advise that you don't get further involved in the revert war and go into discussion itself. It is in your best interest that you don't revert any further. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 23:57, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I would just stay out of the war and let it get decided by an outside party. Personally, I think alan.ca is full of fluff, but I could be wrong. :: Colin Keigher (Talk) 00:27, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Why is it so difficult to just allow the process to be completed by a neutral admin? I only ask that this team stop disrupting the process. Alan.ca 00:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- First you perpetrated an edit war then you accuse me of vandalism. Go away, I'm not talking to you anymore. ViriiK 00:39, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
