Hi, I'm contacting you as you're a user who edits articles for both Rugby union & league wikiprojects, could you please take a look at a little dispute going on at USA Rugby between myself and User:CUA 27. For me, someone could easily find themselves at USA Rugby while looking for USA Rugby League, so I included a WP:Hatnote to USA Rugby. The only reason CUA can give while continuously reverting me is that no one is that interested in USARL and therefore wouldn't make that error. Seems to be a blatant WP:NPOV violation by CUA, and I've asked him to stop. I've told him I'll take it to WP:ANI if needed, but I'd rather avoid that. As a neutral party with a foot in both League and Union camps, could you please take a look? If I'm in the wrong, I'll take it on the chin of course, but I feel I'm right to re-add the hatnote. Thanks 90.214.98.93 (talk) 19:02, 25 March 2016 (UTC) |

WikiProject Rugby league on Wikipedia Signpost
This week, Wikipedia:WikiProject Rugby league will appear on The Signpost. As you are one of the more active members of the project, it'd be great if you could take part in the interview at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Newsroom/WikiProject desk/Interviews4. Thanks. Non notable page
Found a non notable player page in Adrian Davis (rugby league) for you to put through the deletion process. Josh the newcastle fan (talk) 13:57, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 2
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2016 All Stars match, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chris Lawrence, Jeremy Smith and Tom Burgess (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Taranaki Rugby Academy
Hi there, just doing some new article assessment and you'd know whether the Taranaki Rugby Academy is a proper club or just a short-term training programme. If the former, a player would presumably come within WPNZ; if the later, probably not. Case in point is David Tameilau. Schwede66 05:00, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
- From what I can gather, they are talking about the academy/development side that is below the Taranaki ITM Cup side. This Article suggests they only spend 8 weeks here, so I wouldn't tag them with a WPNZ tag based on just that. Mattlore (talk) 05:04, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
Leigh Centurions template
I noticed that Rangi Chase does not appear on Template:Leigh Centurions squad. Perhaps WikiProject Rugby league should start a project to update these templates? Leeds United FC fan (talk) 21:09, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- That template looks like it has been updated only last month, so they must have missed him. Be bold and add him if he is confirmed in the squad :) I like this feature, Template:Squad maintenance, I haven't seen that before. Mattlore (talk) 21:17, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- @Mattlore: As you are one of the more active editors of WikiProject Rugby league, do you think you could take a look at this. The user I asked does not edit regularly, therefore I asked another admin who recommended I asked WikiProject Rugby league at the project talk page. Re: Anthony Murray
Just created here. Probably should have done that first before moving the other page! I did actually end up creating a current squad template as well here by the way, as I think there are (just barely) enough notable players to make it worthwhile. J Mo 101 (talk) 20:10, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
- Cool, I thought I'd ask but assumed you'd have one in the works. At least creating a template should stop more being re-created. Mattlore (talk) 22:54, 22 February 2016 (UTC)

Help me out?!
Hi Mattlore. Since your probably one of the greatest legends to ever edit Rugby League articles (haha). I do alot of work on the history of Rugby Union (as you may know), I'm intrested in helping out the Rugby League side too. I know my way around the game and frequently watch the Warriors so I'm not new.
Are their any special sites that you would go to, to find info about older players - meaning players that are probably dead. I'm focusing on Kiwis representatives.. I see the site: Rugby league project is quite popular? Hopefully you can help me out. Cheers. Sirpottingmix (talk) 06:41, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hey, yeah rugbyleagueproject is quite good for stats. If you are focusing on older Kiwi representatives then also have a look at nzleague.co.nz and the NZRL's official site for help. If you're lucky a google will also bring up a local paper with some coverage of the particular player you are working on.
- Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help, or if I'm not around ask at the project page, WP:RL. Mattlore (talk) 07:01, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
