I noticed you placed a 'howto' tag on Suicide methods, I was just wondering which part of the article you felt that applied to? In general, I think there is a difference between telling people what others commonly do, and telling them how to do it. I would have said the article was descriptive rather than instructive. But feel free to discuss it on the talk page or go ahead and edit if you think there are secrions which need changing.
Again, welcome! Eve 15:53, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
mediation
Is this how "mediation" is suppost to work?--Carlaude (talk) 21:59, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ainlina, there is currently an arbcom open for Alaistar Haines that has included Lisa and myself (and our long history of incessant edit wars) in it's scope. Would it be appropriate to close this mediation cabal since it is now superseded by the arbcom? Carlaude only had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The problem is really between Lisa and myself, and I doubt Carlaude will have too many run ins.Tim (talk) 15:18, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
???
I am very confused by your vandalism accusation.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:71.1.106.178
Please don't accuse people of things like that without some basis for it. Why do you think "ugly" was the right word in that sentence?
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Flosser&diff=240050379&oldid=234503315
- Thank you for your correction. Please be very careful about words like "vandalism", which can be upsetting to people when misused. I disagree with many of the ways wikipedia is run, but one thing I do agree with is W:assume good faith. Vandalism mainly occurs because of the open nature of this project, a hefty price paid for anonymous edits such as mine. I'll try to make it worth it, thank you again for the apology and correction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.1.106.178 (talk) 19:37, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- p.s. when I wrote the above I used the link W:assume good faith. That seems to link to good faith, instead of Wikipedia:Assume good faith, which I intended. Do you know how to fix that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.1.106.178 (talk) 19:40, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
What?!? I reverted vandalism, I did not add it. That must have been a mistake. Look at my edit history and everything. If it is vandalism (I did something by mistake, then), please tell me! I'm freaking out right now. Sorry if I did anything! DavidWS (talk) 19:06, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Webbie, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. actually, what you did was vandalism. You restored to a vandalized page. However, I'm sure you did it by mistake. I reverted it, but take a look at the diff between your revision and mine :) DavidWS (talk) 19:07, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Someone got to your AIV report before I could.
- User has been inappropriately warned. 4im warnings are appropriate for severe vandalism and defamation only.
That would have been my response. The user made two edits, neither of which earned a 4im and then was reported for their third edit. Do not do that again. You start at 1 and work up to 4 except in cases of exceptionally bad vandalism. And reports come after legitimate final warnings. لennavecia 13:48, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

How dare you say I vandilised the list of reccuring and minor Coronation Street characters. The characters Dotty and Eric are now in the past characters article. This is Drew (talk) 13:22, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
El tren de los momentos
I removed the redirect. You can now do the move. Make sure that it is not a controversial move (that it is not disputed) or if it is controversial that a consensus is reached in a discussion before it is moved. I speak enough Spanish to understand that it means "The train of/for the moments", but I don't know if titles go uncapitalized in Spanish. Royalbroil 15:21, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Editor review
Hi,
I came across your editor review. Do you intend to transclude it to the main page to get some reviews, or can it be deleted? Best wishes, – How do you turn this on (talk) 15:19, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion request denied, Talk:Memory work
Hello Ainlina, I have reverted the CSD tag you applied here--it is easier and probably more productive to simply blank the offending text. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 17:30, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Talk:Shadow Magic
Hello Ainlina, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Talk:Shadow Magic, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: No reason to delete - a Wikiproject template is useful thing to have on a talk page. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 09:29, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
AfD nominations
Just wanted to say that I appreciate working with you on the Louis R. Gottschalk Afd today. I use each issue as a learning experience. Although AfDs often lead to disagreements that some people tend to take personally, I respect the comments and dialogue and appreciate the feedback. While the notability of the subject of the article indicates appropriate inclusion on Wikipedia, I wanted to encourage you to continue to nominate articles that you consider inappropriate. I appreciate your work. It is not taken lightly. Cindamuse (talk) 05:49, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Editor assistance list
Hello. Since your account has been inactive for some time, it has been removed from Wikipedia:Editor assistance/list. There is an explanation at Wikipedia talk:Editor assistance/list#Problem with inactive accounts on the list. You are, of course, welcome to re-add yourself to the list if you wish to. Disambiguation link notification for May 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Château-Thierry – Belleau Aerodrome, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Controlled (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Article Feedback Tool update
Hey Ainlina. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles.
We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article.
Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) 21:46, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
Request for comment
Hello Ainlina, I'm here onbehalf of WP:ORPHAN in which you are also a participant. So, we want your opinion to a WP:ORPHAN related matter. It is a proposal by Technical 13. Please have a look here. Backlog drive
Hello Ainlina,
WikiProject Orphanage is holding a month long Backlog Elimination Drive to de-orphan articles which have orphan tags!
The goal is to eliminate the backlog of orphan articles. There are currently 57549 articles which have orphan tags. The drive is running from April 12, 2014 to May 12, 2014.
Awards will be given out for all editors participating in the drive in the form of barnstars at the end of the drive. To add your name in the participants list click here.
So start de-orphaning articles! Click here to see the list of articles need de-orphaning.

deOrphaning script
Hello everyone! I was just working on responding to a couple bug reports for a script that I worked up as part of a request from this project, and I noticed that only a couple people (who weren't even on this mailing list) are actually using the script. A little history on the script: In March of 2014, Jim Cartar came to my user talk page and said he needed some help in acquiring a script for a backlog drive that he was working on that could keep track of and score deOrphanings for a scored backlog drive. I took that request to the project's talk page (BackLog Drive "DO" (De-Orphaning) script proposal) and there was near unanimous support for this. I thought about the proposal and decided the best way to do it was to build a new script (which is still no where near as comprehensive as Manishearth's OrphanTabs) and build into it a mechanism that will make BLD scoring easy.
What I'm wondering at this point is, since there appears to be only two people using the script, should I continue to develop this script with a goal of using it for scoring BLDs or just debug the existing script and leave it at that. Thanks for any replies or comments.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Monarch flycatchers, flycatchers, fantails, drongos and the Magpie-lark listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Monarch flycatchers, flycatchers, fantails, drongos and the Magpie-lark. Since you had some involvement with the Monarch flycatchers, flycatchers, fantails, drongos and the Magpie-lark redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. -- Tavix (talk) 05:16, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
