If you want to leave a message, please do it at the bottom, as a new section, for better formatting. You can do that by simply pressing the plus sign (+) or "new section" on the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~
Attention: I prefer to keep discussions unfragmented. If you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page—my talk page—as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere.
Thank you!
JSTOR
Hello, Bato. I have full access to JSTOR - never checked this before today. If you need a full quote by a paper, leave me a message on my talkpage and I'll get to it.--Maleschreiber (talk) 23:21, 30 May 2020 (UTC)

Quotations in footnotes
Dear Βατο. I am trying to find support for quotations in footnotes to enhance verifiability. I came across some of "your" articles, Enchele and Palaeste, and noted that you, just like myself, often add such quotations. However, I experience difficulties with them and wonder whether you do as well. Some users simply delete my quotations finding them useless (see Battle of Entzheim revision 18:55 29 June 2020). Others tolerate them but recommend a simpler citation style "In future, 'Burke (1949), p. 3' is all that is necessary." (Talk:Sir George Hamilton, Comte Hamilton). Certain users with AutoWikiBrowser (AWB) apply "General fixes" to quotations thereby removing commas from old-fashioned date formats (e.g. "1 July, 1642" -> "1 July 1642"). One friendly, very experienced user logged this for me on 28 Oct 2019 as the bug T236729 "Genfixes removes comma from quoted date" in Phabricator, but this task is still at the status "Open, Needs Triage". I would hope for some comments from you. With thanks, Johannes Schade (talk) 12:15, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
Why are your sources more usually accepted?
Care to explain why you sources are more usually accepted? [[1]] You understand that this kind of activity without offering a decent explanation isn't the most productive one.Alexikoua (talk) 15:26, 23 October 2020 (UTC) Well by reading your source it doesn't even claim this.Alexikoua (talk) 15:29, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

Use of sources
I suggest you read the available material careful before procceeding to addition (or removal) or at least begin a discussion if you believe that the source might not be interpreted correctly as you initially thought.Alexikoua (talk) 19:15, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
About those map issues for Epirus&s. Illyris, I believe some label can be added in Lissus (and Amantia&Byllis). Are there any other issues with this one?Alexikoua (talk) 23:37, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
November 2020
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
