As much as this guy seems to know about the Catholic church, he could have probably just let his knowledge speak for itself. I think he would have gotten more enjoyment from using his knowledge to impress people with real degrees by not having one, yet being able to hold discussions at their level. Anynobody: thanks for your support. I think we both know the deal with Hybrid and Ramsquire. They seem real young, very inexperienced, and awful quick to take any criticism personally. Both, in their own way, seem to resort to bullying in order to get their way on edits. To protect what they think of as their "reputation", they're very quick to accuse others of "personal attacks" (unless one is willing to take it to the Nth degree, the person who cries "ad hominem!" first usually wins - and, ironically, is usually the only one actually engaging in personal attacks). If patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels, crying wolf on "personal attacks" is the last refuge of those without a leg to stand on, argument-wise. They can protect their hero BillO all they want - it's kind of poetic, though sad, that they're doing it in much the same way that Bill himself "wins" arguments. I for one am dropping it, and suggest that you do the same. Good luck.--[[User:Info999|Info999]] 02:57, 6 March 2007 (UTC) |
