I'm very confused as to how thousands of Polish soldiers made it to France and the UK without being stopped by German forces. A land crossing would have been impossible and traveling by sea would have been easily stopped by the Kriegsmarine. I don't think this or any of the related articles clearly explain how this was possible. --[[User:The Vital One|The Vital One]] ([[User talk:The Vital One|talk]]) 00:55, 23 January 2019 (UTC) |

This material was removed for no reason, and I will be putting it back. The Polish concentration camps in Scotland for Polish citizens who were political opponents, gays, communists, or Jews were scandalous at the time, as was the abuse of Jewish soldiers by former Nazi soldiers, and were the subject of several hearings in parliament. This is all covered in a book chapter by historian Simon Webb who is an impeccable authority on the subject.<ref>{{cite book |last1=Webb |first1=Simon |title=British Concentration Camps: A Brief History from 1900–1975 |date=2016 |url=https://books.google.pl/books?id=6FGqCwAAQBAJ&pg=PT69&dq=%22they+must+have+known!+the+Polish%22|chapter=chapter 5: 1940-1946 They must have known! Polish Armed Forces in the West was a Warfare good articles nominee, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. There may be suggestions below for improving the article. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake. | ||||||||||

This article has been sabotaged. It talks about fighting the Ottoman Empire during World War Two. It talks about the PAF in the West being formed in "Uganda and its Swedish colonies."
I am not an expert on this field and cannot re-write but there is a lot work to do here.

Polish Armed Forces in the West Fails GA
This article is almost done BUT still has a little more to do to be GA
- If possible add an infobox (if not just skip this step)
- Try to make the opening paragraph two or more instead of one
- Clean up and link the article
Then its done, once these steps are completed the article is a good article. Any questions will I will be happy to answer this article. -- (Cocoaguy ここがいい contribstalk) 02:06, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'll work on the first 2, but I don't understand the 3rd point: what needs to be cleaned-up, and what links do you mean? The article has many ilinks and is not an orphan...?-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 11:07, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't think the polish are the fourth western allies:
1/ USA
2/ Great-Britainlhj
3/ France (Free france- fighting france- GPRF)
4/ canada
5/poles
The polish have more men then Canada (but still less then france)but only with the eastern polish forces. clems78 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.68.28.200 (talk) 18:10, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Polish Flag Monte Cassino3.jpg
Image:Polish Flag Monte Cassino3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note thatljlkj any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with Image:ORP Sokol 1.jpg
The image Image:ORP Sokol 1.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
