Silesian Piasts - line of Piast dynasty started by Władysław II the Exile, son of Bolesław III Wrymouth. Silesian Piasts ruled over many Duchies of Silesia after fragmentation of Poland that begun in 1138. The last Silesian Duke and Piast was George William, Duke of Legnica (d. 1675). The last male Silesian Piast was baron Ferdinand II Hohenstein (d. 1706).
