KKAY (1590 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Variety format. Licensed to White Castle, Louisiana, USA, the station serves the Baton Rouge area. The station is currently owned by Cactus Communications.[1]
The station features political talk in mornings with Christopher Tidmore from 7-8 AM and Moon Griffon from 9-11 AM weekdays; R&B Oldies in the afternoon; Gospel on Sundays; and Cajun/Zydeco on weekends. It is also the only station in Louisiana to bring live Girls Softball on the air during the season, along with its usual Ascension Catholic High School Sports coverage.
