Insomnia is an upcoming television series adaptation of based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Pinborough. It will be broadcast on Paramount+, starring Vicky McClure.
Synopsis
A mother approaching her fortieth birthday must investigate her past as she develops insomnia as she approaches her fortieth birthday.[1]

Production
The six-part series is written by Sarah Pinborough and produced by BYO Films. Vicky McClure is a producer on the series, as well as playing the lead role of Emma. Filming took place over three months and was finished in November 2023.[2]
The cast includes Tom Cullen as the husband of McClure's character Emma and Smylie Bradwell and India Fowler as their children, and Leanne Best as Emma's estranged sister Phoebe.[3]
Broadcast
The series will be available on Paramount+ from 23 May 2024.[4]
