Criticism
iAntivirus has been criticized many times because it only scans for Mac viruses, instead of Windows/Linux/ and Mac viruses like ClamXav and Norton Antivirus. However, with the recently growing world of Mac threats, there are some people that think that it is good to be prepared. This also contributes in using lower system resources.
Database
On the iAntivirus website there is a Mac only threat database, including 90 known Mac threats, although the naming is generic, and not variant-specific.
