Binod Ghoshal was born in Navagram village panchayat area at Konnagar in Hooghly district of West Bengal. Father's name is Krishna Gopal Ghoshal and mother's name is Archana Ghoshal. Growing up with the nature of fields, ponds, jungles from small. Father was Param Vaishnava, Sri Krishna-Chaitanya Antapran. The companionship of a homely father made him attracted to art and literature from a very young age. Painting, and acting were his innate talents. He started his career at a young age to take care of the family after his father passed away due to a terminal illness. But did not settle for any job. Sometimes as a private tutor, sometimes as a bookkeeper on a mattress in Barabazar, as a supervisor in a biscuit factory, as an accountant in an industrialist's house, as an accountant in a corporate house, as a journalist in a newspaper. Along with these literary discussions were going on. After getting involved in many different jobs for earning money, he gave up everything and finally took up writing as his only profession. His writings include short stories, novels, features, plays, film criticism. Binod Ghoshal (Hindi: বিনোদ ঘোষাল) (Born: 28 February 1976 Konnagar, Hooghly) an Indian writer. He is a Bengali writer who won Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar Award in 2011.[1]

Received 'Best Literary 2020 from Hon'ble Governor on behalf of Sunday Times Kolkata.
