Revert Speculation. It's obvious that it's an error. You certainly can't prove that Dingodile WAS created by Brio. |

==Trivia== |
|||
*The Manual for ''Crash Bash'' refers to Dingodile as "another of Nitrus' mutant monsters", implying that he was created by [[Dr. Nitrus Brio]]. This is clearly not true, because he was obviously working for Uka Uka and Cortex in his debut appearence. |

Dingodile (ディンゴダイル, Dingodairu) is a fictional character in the Crash Bandicoot series.
Dingodile was created when a Naughty Dog employee asked the character designer for a cross between a dingo and a crocodile. Dingodile is a hybrid mutant created by Doctor Nitrus Brio[1], though only ever shown in the service of Dr. Neo Cortex He is a dingo-crocodile hybrid with a Broad Australian accent who enjoys reading Shakespeare, playing croquet, and roasting orange bandicoots (and penguins) with his prized flamethrower. He is usually found as one of Cortex's three main henchmen, along with Doctor N. Gin and Tiny Tiger.
Dingodile is shown to have owned a small shack near Doctor Cortex's Iceberg Lab in Crash Twinsanity, but this is destroyed almost as soon as it is introduced.
Dingodile's main weapon is a flamethrower. However, in Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure, he uses a torpedo launcher instead, as a flamethrower cannot function underwater.
He is voiced by the late William Hootkins in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Dwight Schultz in Crash Nitro Kart and Twinsanity, and Keisuke Ishida in the Japanese dubs of the games.
Appearances in video games
In Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Dingodile made his debut as the second boss, which is fought during the ice ages. After the fight is won, a penguin that is believed to be Penta Penguin (who he attempted to kill earlier), comes and stomps on his back for revenge.
In Crash Team Racing, Dingodile returns as a playable character. His kart is in the "Advanced" catergory, and capable of high speeds.
In Crash Bash he is chosen by Aku Aku to play for the side of good in the contest between good and evil. Dingodile has the same abilities as Rilla Roo
Dingodile played a minor role as an attendant at Uka Uka's "bad guy convention" in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, and had no speaking lines. He often served as an obstacle or enemy in certain levels with his flamethrower.
He is a boss in Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure who fights Crash underwater. At the end of the game, he is briefly merged with Cortex and the rest of his minions.
In Crash Nitro Kart Dingodile was assisting Doctor N. Gin (only to be smashed into the wall by Tiny when he enters the room to help) when Emperor Velo the 27th abducted their castle tower. After that, he is brainwashed by N. Trance to race for N. Trance's team. He is unlocked by beating the Red Gem Cup.
Dingodile reappeared in the game Crash Twinsanity. Hearing of the Evil Twins' treasure from Doctor Neo Cortex, he followed Crash to the boiler-room in the Academy of Evil where he attacked Crash. Crash eventually defeated him and escaped the boiler-room, while Dingodile was left lying on the floor. Dingodile has not been seen since then.
