Deborah Frisch is a former adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Arizona. Frisch was also previously an adjunct professor with the University of Oregon. Frisch also operates a politically left weblog called South(West) Paw. Frisch is a fan of the late Edward Abbey and promotes some of Abbey's anarchist and environmental viewpoints.
Frisch was denied tenure by the University of Oregon in 1994, she continued there as an adjunct until June of 2001, when she left to work for the National Science Foundation in Washington, DC.
