David Oancia was an award-winning[1] Canadian journalist.[2] He worked for several press,[3][4][5] primarily the Globe and Mail.[6][7][8] He is best known as the only resident non-communist North American correspondent in Beijing reporting on China’s cultural revolution during the late 1960s.[9][10][11] His contributions have been cited in numerous books,[12][13] academic journals,[14][15][16] and other publishings.[17][18][19]
