The African continent is made up of about 52 countries, while some of these countries have National Tax Revenue Authorities and or Tax Institutes to drive their economy, some do not. Following the inauguration of the West African Union of Tax Institute [1]West_African_Union_of_Tax_Institutes(WAUTI) in May 2011, prior discussion on the formation of the Association of African Tax Institute (.AATI ) came to a head when the body was inaugurated in Lagos on 22 June 2011,
