- I've got most Kurdish categories on my watchlist, therefore I am up to date if a Kurdish article is created and I'm mostly also involved in the first edits of the article, like short description and categories. I thought I might also just mark the page as reviewed, if there are no issues. I requested the rights before, actually with good intent, but then withdrew and thought I learn some more about Wikipedia. Now I think I have learned enough about wikipedia to try it out. I was a little checking on the new pages feed and doing some minor edits such as the mentioned ones. I'm also active in the page creation (here are the articles I've created so far) and I'm always thankful when a reviewer has reviewed my page. I hope to be of help to the reviewers team. - @Paradise Chronicle: you withdrew your last application so you could learn more. What have you learned? I haven't started looking into you yet but would be curious about that answer. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 01:35, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
- I learned a lot. To make it short, I received a deeper insight in the working process of the system Wikipedia. The uninvolved readers (which I was for a long period of time as well) mainly see the Encyclopedia as good to have in everyday-life while not working on it. But this Encyclopedia is provided by a framework of guidelines, and editors who take on some responsibility for the wellbeing of the project Wikipedia.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 08:35, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

- Bundled request. NPR,PCR. Had these rights on my old account. Admittedly i was never a prolific NPR but i'd like to be able to help with the backlog on occasion. I've reviewed pending changes a fair bit in the past. I'm not after extended-confirmed; i'm enjoying the barrier. Thank you, Zindor (talk) 21:44, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

- Zindor, I can't seem to find a disclosure of which prior account you edited under. Would you be willing to either disclose this either openly or in an email? Without knowing who you were, it's not possible to assess your prior track record. signed, Rosguill talk 20:26, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
Done for 1 month as a trial run. Looking through your contributions across this account and the one you disclosed to me, your AfD contributions look good but the few articles that come up in your patrol log are ones that I would consider fairly easy to review and thus I'd like to see a bit more work before conferring indefinitely. I'll confer PCR indefinitely as well. It's not impossible that you may run into some bugs holding this permission without ECP, let me know if there are any issues on that front. signed, Rosguill talk 17:31, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

- I am aware with the regulations required for the New page reviewer, as this is the field of Interest I have where I would love to invest my efforts, I feel that there are really good editors who are working in this area of wiki, but still I find that this section is sometimes backlogged, Me having this access will certainly allow me to actively work in this section as this is the area of my Interest. Thanks Dtt1Talk 13:33, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Not done, I'm sorry but looking through your recent contributions, I note that you have multiple recent rejected AfC submissions and other articles with notability issues as well. Please build up a track record of several months of issue-free article work before reapplying. signed, Rosguill talk 20:29, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

- I checked the "New pages feed", over 9,000 articles that need review in the (New Page Patrol) and over 3,000 articles that need review in "Articles for Creation". I want to help as much as I can. Charmk (talk) 17:15, 24 August 2020 (UTC) Charmk (talk) 17:15, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for your interest in this permission. Unfortunately, you lack the track record in article creation, deletion discussions, or CSD/PROD tagging to demonstrate that you have the necessary knowledge to use this permission effectively. While I'm pretty forgiving of past mistakes such as the slew of AfD nominations that you made last year, I need to see evidence of activity since then that shows that you now have a better understanding of the relevant policies and guidelines. Please note as well that AfC reviewer is a separate pseudo-permission, and this is not the place to request it.

- Requesting because in my own experience, the size of the backlog (it’s currently over 3,000 so for some people it will probably take til the end of the year) is something that discourages people from using the AfC. By now, I make articles from scratch 9 times out of 10, so I’d rather shift my focus to reviewing since I know what the requirements are for an article. We have all the free time in the world we can bust that thing down at least half way. Also, I’m trying to expand my horizons besides subjects I normally do. Trillfendi (talk) 18:19, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- Trillfendi, this page is for new page review requests, the page for AfC reviewer requests is here. Our backlog is around 9k articles long. I can assess whether you're ready for either permission, and the skillsets are quite similar, but I wanted to make sure you were signing up for the correct bit first. signed, Rosguill talk 23:28, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- (Ah, you’re right, I wasn’t paying attention to the venue.) I am available for both, excluding the pages I’ve created myself that haven’t been reviewed yet. Trillfendi (talk) 18:45, 27 August 2020 (UTC)

- Long time editor, who's been away for a bit. Looking to return to more active editing, and in particular, looking to help out at new page patrol. Been away for years, so looking to gain access to the Curation tool. Any questions, please let me know Bfigura (talk) 23:24, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- Welcome back. Your AfD record is quite strong, but you've been away for quite some time so I think it'sbest to start with a trial run.
Done for 2 weeks, and feel free to re-request once that's up. Do be aware that standards around notability have gotten a bit stricter since you were last editing, and some SNGs have also changed. signed, Rosguill talk 23:38, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
