- A couple weeks ago, I was granted this right temporarily by Barkeep49 and since then have made over 50 reviews and almost 10 draftifies, steadily performing several reviews a day. I have also performed several CSDs (A7, A1 and G4 mainly) as well as maintenance tagging (mainly Uncategorized), reducing the maintenance backlog. Eternal Shadow Talk 18:44, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

- The main reason Barkeep49 gave you the right temporarily was because of concerns of your use of the draftify tool. I've looked at the pages you've moved to draft since then, and unfortunately there are still problems with almost all of them:
- Draft:King Eino 1 (3) is an obvious hoax. There is no King Eino of Sweden and the article claims he lived to the age of 195. It should have been nominated for deletion.
- Draft:Salim Assaf – you moved this to draft because the author appeared to have a COI, but I can't see how you reached this conclusion, and you never asked the creator if they did have a COI or even explained what a conflict of interest is (e.g. using the {{uw-coi}}).
- Draft:Mário Lago is a translation of pt:Mário Lago which is well referenced. Given that, it would be more appropriate to tag the article with {{unsourced}} and/or {{expand pt}}.
- Draft:Against "Summons of the Soul" is also a translation, of vi:Phản chiêu hồn, so same as above.
- You moved Draft:Dos Por Dos (radio program) to draft less than two hours after it was created, while the creator was still working on it (see point 3 of WP:DRAFTIFY). Since the creator has been around a while, it would have been reasonable to give them some time to finish it and add references (which indeed they did).
- Draft:2017 Bohemian F.C. season – you draftified it just 8 minutes after creation. The NPP guidelines suggest waiting at least 15 minutes before doing anything. Similar to the above, the creator is an experienced editor and was writing something that is clearly part of a series, so it's would have been reasonable to give them some time to finish.
- Draft:Enrique Ruelas – WP:DRAFTIFY should only be used when "there is no assertion that the page belongs in mainspace". You previously declined this draft at AfC, then the creator moved it to mainspace themselves (a clear assertion that it belongs there). At that point, if you still thought it didn't belong, the next course of action would be to take it to AfD. Being an AfC or NPP reviewer doesn't give us the right to edit war or privilege our judgement over others'.
- Draft:Deepanshu Titoriya is clearly not notable, it should have been nominated for deletion.
- What I'm seeing here is that one, you're moving too fast and not looking closely at the content of articles or the who created them. And two, you're forgetting that most pages in the NPP queue are created by new editors. We don't expect or require them to make article perfect the first time, and they usually respond better to help and guidance than having their creation hastily dumped into draftspace.
- Also—and this was another concern of Barkeep's—I notice that in the past few weeks many editors have posted on your talk page about your AfC and NPP reviews, but you haven't responded to most of them. Communication is not optional when you're reviewing others' work.
- I realise that you're patrolling in good faith though. If I extended your NPP right by another three weeks, do you think you could address these issues? I'd suggest in that time you avoid using the draftify tool at all and focus on tagging/improving or nominating for deletion; and also spend some time answering questions at the WP:Teahouse to get some insight into the new editor experience. But if you'd rather not and focus on other tasks, that's fine too. – Joe (talk) 07:54, 11 August 2020 (UTC)
- I think I could address these issues. I will also lean on the side of caution as well, taking longer to review, so I could limit my blunders to as low as possible. Eternal Shadow Talk 15:54, 12 August 2020 (UTC)

- Hi, I have been patrolling Wikipedia voluntarily since day 1. I approach each article with the utmost due diligence. Currently, I am involved in multiple AfDs as well as also trying my hand in reviewing the pending changes. If the concerned authority is confident with my work, then I would like to submit my interest to participate in the New Page Reviewing process. Hatchens (talk) 04:51, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

- @Hatchens: Not done. It has been less than a month since you last asked. Please spend some time working to address the feedback Anarchyte gave you then. I would recommend waiting at least 3 months before reapplying. – Joe (talk) 06:54, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

- I feel that I can make Wikipedia better by contributing to it. I am a long time user on Wikipedia and I believe that there should be relevant information on Wikipedia. Nikkhils.me (talk) 10:35, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

- @Nikkhils.me: Please see the granting guidelines for this right. 500 edits to mainspace is the minimum threshold, and we would also want to see a demonstrated familiarity with the policies and guidelines applying to new articles, for example by participating in AfC or AfD. Not done. – Joe (talk) 10:47, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

- I have been a user of Wikipedia for 3 years now. I will like to voluntarily contribute by experience and Wikipedia comprehension by being a review. Withsaying, I will not underestimate the importance of this role, all articles I review will be carefully and seriously looked at, and process in accordance with the rules of being a reviewer and the methods they should put in effect. - Not done Sorry, but you do not meet the minimum edit count for this permission. This minimum edit count is listed at WP:NPR and it's also in the editnotice—twice—when you go to edit this page. ~Swarm~ {sting} 01:04, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
