- Always meticulous with my sourcing. 35 articles created, 0 deleted. I'm also an AFC and NPP reviewer. Loksmythe (talk) 14:43, 21 February 2020 (UTC)

- I've created 25 articles, some of which have taken some time to be reviewed, and I wish to do my part to lessen the hassle on the new page reviewers (who do wonderful work), through whatever means I can. (It doesn't hurt that I'm familiar with English Wikipedia, having been a New Page Reviewer for some time.) — Javert2113 (Siarad.|¤) 02:42, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- Done History is fine, adequate experience. Dennis Brown - 2¢ 13:00, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- MJL (t · th · c · del · cross-wiki · SUL · edit counter · pages created (xtools · sigma) · non-automated edits · BLP edits · undos · manual reverts · rollbacks · logs (blocks · rights · moves) · rfar · spi · cci)
- From the call me completely shocked that MJL is not an administrator department, I noted MJL has created some 3,000 redirects, substantially all of which have been uncontested and not deleted, and 63 pages (some disambiguation pages and a fair number of list articles, but most have been stub-class and above and nearly of them are still in existence), so I wanted to nominate MJL for autopatrolled. I should also note that MJL is the creator and maintainer of the Archer redirect categorization user script. MJL does have the redirect whitelist pseudo-user right, but in my opinion, has both the redirect and content creation skills and knowledge of our policies & guidelines to have the full autopatrolled user right. If granted autopatrolled, MJL would no longer need the redirect whitelist pseudo-user right. Doug Mehus T·C 18:48, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Dmehus: Nah, I'm good. I'm of the opinion that I have enough user rights as it is, and anymore would be superfluous. While my redirects are very much on point, the same cannot be said of my Wikipedia articles which benefit greatly from going through the normally NPP process considering I frequently write in areas with which I have no prior experience. For example, List of Homicide episodes. We all have our limitations, and writing new articles can be one of mine. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 18:59, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- @MJL: Okay, fair enough. I was just thinking then we wouldn't need to patrol the redirects or other miscellany you might nominate for deletion, nor patrol your pages. This was more about cutting down the backlog for patrollers than giving you an added user right (I agree, too many user rights can be superfluous, but in this case, as a trusted user, we wouldn't need to patrol your pages, which have been excellent). Even with autopatrolled, you could still submit your articles through AfC as a sort of peer review process, to ensure your articles meet our notability criteria. That's actually how I'd probably submit most of my articles on which I plan to eventually write (mostly Canadian provincial prisons since we have so few such articles). ;-) Doug Mehus T·C 19:54, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- Marking this as ✗ Not done per MJL's decline. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 19:58, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

- I mostly create articles of colleges and universities. Consider me if I am eligible for this right. GargAvinash (talk) 01:37, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- That's not bad for a new account. The only thing that holds me back is the distinct lack of definite articles in your prose. Is that an Indian language thing? Your articles would thus benefit from a copyedit. Is that something that you could work on yourself? That's really the only thing holding me back and if other editors think that's not a big enough issue (note I haven't place a 'decline' tag), then I'd be relaxed about it. - Maybe you are right. If editors think that I am not eligible then I will come here later. GargAvinash (talk) 07:49, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
