I would like to check to see what type of new pages are being created. Having this right will allow me to see if any page being created is in good or bad faith. Also, I will be able to provide a good reason for the page being good or inappropriate. Additionally, I have used this account for more than 2 years, have over 3,250 edits, and since my edits are in good faith, my account has never been blocked. Plus, I generally try to remain as calm as possible so that I don't lose my temper. I have learned that having this right is an important responsibility and I will not abuse this power at all. Since I have known this is a very crucial privilege, I will make smart choices. Sahas P. (talk) 13:44, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Sahas. Thanks for volunteering. Could I just ask you to look at the second point of Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reviewers#Guidelines for granting and let us know if you have any prior experience that would meet that criterion? – Joe (talk) 11:11, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- Sure, I will look at them and tell you when I can. Sahas P. (talk) 13:30, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- Marking as Not done for now, please feel free to re-request when you've had a chance to look over the criteria. – Joe (talk) 08:42, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

I regularly review drafts from Special:NewPagesFeed and have reviewed older drafts, with the permission I will be able to also simultaneously review newer pages through the page feed as well as older unpatrolled pages. I understand NPR's procedures and believe that I meet the guidelines: I am an AfC reviewer and have nominated many suitable articles I've come across to CSD and have a good AfD participation rate. I want to become new page reviewer to check new articles mostly by new users to assist them gain more knowledge about Wikipedia standards and policies and improve their article. At the same time addressing spam, copyright violations and other such issues in article. I know this is a responsibility and I am willing to take it. I also like to help new users improve their writing skills. I also help rescue good articles from getting deleted with proper and calm discussion on articles for deletion AFD page. I beleive deletion must be last option we can always help new user by making them understand Wikipedia standards and policy and ask them to move it to draft and work more on that article. Thank you. - Thank you for your interest in this permission. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing enough work to overcome a long history of AfD and A7 deletions, and some of your recent draft promotions suggest a weak understanding of what comprises WP:SIGCOV for films. - Hello Rosguill, Thank you for reviewing my request. I would improve and work on the things suggested above and re-apply. DSN18 (talk) 19:19, 14 July 2023 (UTC)

Hi there, I would like to assist in new page reviewing as i am reviewing and fixing things in new articles and love to review. Citadeol(talk) 05:22, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your interest in this permission. Unfortunately, I'm seeing recent article creations, such as Catholic Business Network, that demonstrate a lack of a full understanding of notability guidelines. Not done. signed, Rosguill talk 02:12, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

I'd be happy to help out - I've been updating/creating pages for a few years now and, having grown up with an English teacher for a mother, have a solid grasp on spelling, grammar and proper use of punctuations. I'm also a big stickler for consistency and try to keep things as close to proper form as possible. Cageyfella (talk) 16:17, 12 July 2023 (UTC)

Thank you Zippybonzo for the invitation to join the WP:NPP. I appreciate the recognition of my activity and experience and delighted to be considered for this role. I have gone through the material and found the graphs and video to be particularly helpful in understanding the review process and the relevant guidelines. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to assist in maintaining the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia articles and look forward to the possibility of becoming a member of the New Pages Patrol. - Hey @Ainty Painty. Thanks for your enthusiasm! I'll be honest though, I am a bit concerned about these 74 deleted pages. I spot checked 4 of them, and 2 were copyright violations, and one was described as a "borderline attack page". And these are within the last few months. Please feel free to explain or let me know if I am missing something. –Novem Linguae (talk) 10:13, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- I appreciate the opportunity to address these points and provide further clarification on the matter.
- Regarding the deleted pages, I acknowledge that there might have been instances where some articles (which I created in the beginning) did not comply with Wikipedia guidelines. It is worth noting that many of these articles were initially moved to drafts to allow for improvement and editing. However, unfortunately, due to the lack of engagement from other editors, including myself, they were ultimately deleted after the standard 6-month period.
- I understand the importance of maintaining original and properly attributed content on Wikipedia. I would like to apologize for my previous lack of awareness regarding the copyright detection tool (https://copyvios.toolforge.org/). Recently, I came across this tool and have been actively using it to ensure that content I encounter does not violate copyright regulations. Additionally, I would like to address the "borderline attack page" you mentioned. I believe it is necessary to provide further context and evidence to support my claim. You can find the relevant information and a reliable source that supports the content in question. However, I acknowledge that I might have missed providing a reference in that specific case. That's all. Thank You!

- As the most recent copyright deletion was for an article created on June 26 (3 weeks ago), I'm going to go ahead and mark this Not done. Please consider reapplying in the future once you've gotten a bit more distance from past copyright errors. signed, Rosguill talk 02:18, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

Hello all! A few weeks/months back, I was granted a new page reviewer trial period after completing NPP school and being involved in deletion processes. Since then, I’ve used the Page curation toolbar quite a lot to review, tag, and mark pages for deletion. I decided to focus on mostly redirects, as the backlog for them is currently much higher, but also sometimes review articles with the knowledge gained from NPP school. I admit I did have a few issues on my first few days of reviewing, but what matters is that I’ve learned from my mistakes and work to improve. - It’s also important to note that I haven’t been able to commit to reviewing new pages as much as I’d like because I’ve been on vacation and planning vacation during the trial. - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 20:39, 13 July 2023 (UTC)

Hello! I have been an editor on enwiki for a while now and would like to request the new page reviewer bit to help out with the extensive backlogs. I fit all the requirements and have a good knowledge of WP guidelines around content. I'm fairly active at WP:AfD and I CSD tag regularly. Thanks! ULPS (talk) 18:18, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
