Contact
"Bruce Ohr served as a Department of Justice contact for Christopher Steele, ..."
This implies ongoing contacts, not one contact or occasional contacts. What's the truth here? -- BullRangifer (talk) PingMe 16:13, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
- In fact, it implies he was an official contact person. -- BullRangifer (talk) PingMe 16:14, 30 May 2018 (UTC) BullRangifer (talk) PingMe 16:14, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
- WaPo reports that Ohr and Simpson met in a coffee shop. The nature of Ohr's relationship with Steele is not public, though Sen. Chuck Grassley has requested more records. FallingGravity 16:58, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

Why propose deletion now?
Why of all times would this article be proposed for deletion now when it has come to light that that Ohr served as a back channel from Steele to the FBI?Phmoreno (talk) 02:56, 16 August 2018 (UTC) [1]
- This is a classic WP:BLP1E. There is no evidence presented that Ohr is notable outside his linkage to a single event in the news; all cited sources discuss Ohr in the context of this event. Thus, there are no policy-supported grounds (or sufficient sourced materials) to write a biography of him as opposed to a WP:COATRACK which is actually about that event. Therefore, mention of Ohr belongs in the relevant articles. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 03:10, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
