:"Benfica is the <u>second-biggest club</u> in the world, <u>after Bayern Munich</u>" means that it is the third biggest. "Benfica is the biggest club in the world <u>after<u>/<u>behind</u> Bayern Munich" means it's the second-biggest. [[User:SLBedit|SLBedit]] ([[User talk:SLBedit|talk]]) 16:22, 10 January 2015 (UTC) |

Disambiguation link notification for October 13
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Villa Imperiale of Pesaro, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Frederick III. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hapsburgs
Kindly see http://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=hapsburg+-speech&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C39 and http://www.jstor.org/action/doBasicSearch?Query=hapsburg, and stop forcing your spelling on this article. Nyttend (talk) 13:19, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
- Since you consider this a matter of language variation, let me remind you of the provisions of WP:ENGVAR. "The English Wikipedia prefers no major national variety of the language over any other." "When an English variety's consistent usage has been established in an article, maintain it in the absence of consensus to the contrary. With few exceptions (e.g. when a topic has strong national ties or a term/spelling carries less ambiguity), there is no valid reason for such a change." No such ties exist for a Ukrainian topic, so you must not change the article away from its established style. If you continue, administrative intervention will be requested to enforce our standards. S.L. Benfica
Could you please get another source in English that doesn't contain outdated information? Your source shows "This time last year Bayern, with 217,000 registered members, lagged behind Benfica with 224,000." That's outdated, back in February Benfica had at least 235,000 members (source is FIFA weekly magazine, which is in the article). SLBedit (talk) 17:26, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. SLBedit (talk) 18:19, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
- I have removed the country from the introduction since there's only one popular "Bayern Munich". SLBedit (talk) 18:38, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
- I have removed it because of this. SLBedit (talk) 20:04, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- So, Benfica article has to link to Bayern but Bayern can't link to Benfica? SLBedit (talk) 20:37, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure country isn't necessary. SLBedit (talk) 20:42, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
