For questions or suggestions one can use the talk pages: Talk:Graphics Lab, Talk:Illustrations, Talk:Photographs and Talk:Maps.

Request: fix fold... Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 12:07, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Graphist opinion(s): Well, I actually nommed it for deletion. If you look at commons:Commons:PD#Japan it's 50 years after publication if anonymous, or death of author. Because there is no information given, and the only information is that it was a tunnel to be built during world war II, so it was most likely published during or after the war. If it was published in somebody's name then it probably is still copyrighted, and it could be if the plan wasn't published until 1960. Hope you understand the rationale. - It's original research on both your part and mine, but the artwork and typestyle suggest it is World War II era, not later. We can't hang a deletion on "most likely" and "quite possibly" The original uploader needs notified and contacted to see if they can source this. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 03:16, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- I agree, there should at least be an effort to contact the original uploader to provide any info on the source, I think it would be premature to rush in and delete the file before there is at least some chance of getting the rationale. I'd say give the uploader a few days to respond and then I would support deletion if no response was received. For all we know we could be deleting a file thats PD. - Just to let you know, I've emailed the uploader requesting any information they might have on the source. Fallschirmjäger ✉ 09:27, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks. I thought I had asked the uploader, but I must not have... Thanks for doing so. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs/Vote! 23:31, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- I havent heard anything yet from the uploader and I don't think we're likely too, considering they have not been active since February 2009. Fallschirmjäger ✉ 19:05, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

- Irregardless of copyright status, I don't think it would be possible to flatten it out, unfortunately. I don't have enough data from the scan to do so without getting distortions. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs/Vote! 20:19, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

Request: This photo was taken on board a Metro train. There are some reflections off the window that this photo was taken through of the train's seats and handrails in the right half of the photo. Most noticeable are diagonal lines where the seats' handrails reflected light, as well as some darker reflections from the seats themselves lower down in the photo. Requesting that these reflections be removed. SchuminWeb (Talk) 15:32, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

SSN showing in redacted pdf doc at lo resolution
the electronically redacted SSN that was done with paperport is showing at lo resolution. in fact some of the numbers are seen at the hi resolution. i didn't know how to delete the image so i uploaded an image from the battle of cowpens. the original DD214 is seen in the history. It is a privacy identity theft issue with social security numbers showing. [1] Godspeed John Glenn! Will 01:17, 24 April 2010 (UTC) Request: Please black out the privacy info, then revert to the original image. Leave no trace of the privacy info... Godspeed John Glenn! - The SSN already appears to be blacked out, along with a mailing address. Is all well, or am I missing something? If it is the case that something deeper is going on and the SSN is not already thoroughly obscured, we need to have that revision oversighted. SchuminWeb (Talk) 19:05, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- On second thought, considering that this file is unused, I'm just going to delete it, and then have the Oversighters oversight the deleted revisions. SchuminWeb (Talk) 00:51, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
