The result was keep. Keep, on the basis of the discussion here and at the afd for the 2011 article, there seems to be sufficient consensus, and consistency from year to year on a series like this is desirable. DGG ( talk ) 18:40, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Mr Gay World is enough. No need for articles for each year. The text depends only on primary sources. Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 16:47, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
- Delete not independently notable from Mr Gay World, per nom. Lack of reliable independent secondary sources. --Bejnar (talk) 17:26, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
- redirect to Andreas Derleth as lacking sufficient in depth coverage in reliable independent sources. Stuartyeates (talk) 18:54, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

Delete or Redirect to Andreas DerlethKeep -event has not got the required coverage in its own right. Keep as per Cirt's sources below. Mabalu (talk) 16:03, 6 October 2014 (UTC)- Keep, nice source coverage found at: Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL. — Cirt (talk) 15:05, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- We don't make the searches that way: Add '2012' and '-wiki' to 'your title', search; then tell us if you have found any 'reliable' source. --Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 15:20, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- @Cirt:, please read Wikipedia:Google searches and numbers as to the problems with the approach you suggested above. Have you in fact identified any in depth coverage in reliable independent sources? If so could you clue in the rest of us as to which specific sources those might be? As stated above, we didn't find them. --Bejnar (talk) 04:21, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Comment: National Public Radio, The Encyclopedia of New Zealand, Radio Netherlands Worldwide Africa, Mamba Online, The Guardian, India Times, are a few that gave it source coverage in 2012 alone. — Cirt (talk) 11:45, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Okay - I'm swayed. Not sure about the legitmacy of the pic galleries (albeit evidence of coverage) but the actual articles are good ones. If we have to put up with a torrent of ninnies in bikinis from barely notable pageants, then bring on the hunks in trunks as a counterbalance! Mabalu (talk) 12:34, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.
