Previously prodded, now recreated; the subject fails WP:ATHLETE, he is a young footballer contracted with Tottenham Hotspurs, on loan to Brentford, but with zero professional appearances as of June 2008. Angelo (talk) 22:58, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep, according to the Tottenham website, he has played for the reserve team [1]. I'm fairly sure the FA Premier Reserve League is notable (We even cover by Season on Wikipedia). On this basis, with the combination of individual notability (press coverage with transfers) and national youth team appearances (also according to the tottenham website), he does pass the notability test. - The FA Premier Reserve League is not fully professional, as clubs can (and often do) include players from the youth teams, who are not under professional contracts. -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:08, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Fair enough, but the fact that he's now on a first team with a Pro side, and is pretty much assured to make an appearance when the season begins, this just seems like a delete just based on semantics. The article will just be recreated in september, giving more work to whoever does it because logs won't be available, and just a big waste of time. The season starts in just two months. - Abstain Vote I don't mean to be crystal balling!! But this loan contract is full season, that pretty much guarantee's Mills will be playing some pro games. But we can easily recreate this article when he does play his first game. Govvy (talk) 19:30, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
