- Keep. In what sense is this claimed to be non-notable? The senior officers killed in this crash were apparently an important loss to the Rhodesian military during the Rhodesian Bush War. The article is referenced to two book sources (although full citations are missing) and other sources exist. It meets WP:N as far as I can see. SpinningSpark 00:09, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- Keep. Generally small military helicopter crashes such as this one are not notable, however the exception to the rule tends to be when high-ranking personnel is involved - in this case, Major-General John Shaw (who was possibly slated to be the next Rhodesian chief of staff). BEFORE shows plenty of book coverage for this crash.Icewhiz (talk) 13:28, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- Keep - one of those accidents that probably changed history. Imagine if Napoleon's ship had sunk under him in June 1798, before he disembarked in Alexandria? Had this Alouette not gone down, perhaps Rhodesia would still be a prosperous nation today, and continue to be "the breadbasket of Africa," like it once was. Article is well sourced to books, no question it's a keeper. XavierItzm (talk) 17:03, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
